Good for the money

Like every other CURT product Ive bought, this one is well-made. The paint finish is especially noteworthy. I live on a barrier island off the coast of Florida -- one of the most corrosive places in the world! I have a CURT receiver thats ten years old, and aside from the inevitable light rust inside the receiver tube, it still looks like new.

Nice and study design. However using in 2 inch Curt receiver there is noticable play and chatter. Ordered a hitch tightener. Would expect there to be a higher tolerance with less wobble when using Curt hitch with Curt receiver, both are new. Installed a hitch tightener, the kind with u bolt and things are nice and tight. If I have to remove the hitch mount often then I will consider shimming this product to keep a tight fit.

It came with the wrong bolts for my 2011 GMC terrain, but all the holes lined up great. 2 trips to Menards to get the right bolts. It works great now.

Does the job intended for, no problem with it, good stuff, good price, I do recommend. I also recommend that you buy the locking pin instead of that one coming with it.

Great deal, quality product

Could not get the ball removed from hitch because it was on so tight I could not remove the ball. I wanted to put a different size ball on the hitch but it was a no go. It seemed the nut and lock washer were on way too tight and would not budge.

Item works as described. I contacted the manufacturer since I had to flip the ball. All specifications stayed thw same, regardless position of the ball/mount. Extremely satisfied with item.
