> 3 dayGreat trailer cables! Good value, and easy to use. I used these on my 4x8 utility trailer. The hooks fit on my Tacoma and Subaru, and the cables don’t touch the ground. What more can you ask for?

> 3 dayAfter accidently dragging/grinding my existing safety chains I decided to change to coiled safety cables. I really like how they stay off the ground. While I was at it I also added Curt 81830 17/32-Inch Certified Trailer Safety Chain S-Hook with Latch, 7,600 lbs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LOI6EM/ to the loop ends. They exactly match the factory installed ones on the cables. Its a bear to close them onto the cable though. I used a six inch heavy duty bench vise with a cheater bar to squeeze them closed. I took the opportunity to modify the mounting point on the trailer as well. These Curt products were the perfect options for the upgrade. Even though the coiled cables seem thin compared to the very stout s-links, they are certified to 7500 pounds.

Greater than one weekReplaced my old lighter cables with these. Definitely give me comfort that if anything were to happen, these would maintain my trailer.
