Pros: nothing Cons: *it makes your needle so sticky that it rips your thread. Youll have to wipe your needles down with alcohol several times per project. *its stability is inconsistent, so one ft stretches more/less than the next *You think youre saving money by buying this, but youre wasting it because youll ruin so many projects. Ive been using it for a year and its ruined many of my projects. UPDATE: local hobby shop only had 40wt sew-in stabilizer for sewing, not embroidery. However, it works far better than this. I used to wipe the sticky residue off my needle 4 or 5 times per project, now its still not sticky after 5 projects with the sew-in stabilizer. So in conclusion, go to your local craft store. Its cheaper and works better. I dont run an embroidery business, so I dont care about having the absolute best, but you likely dont either if youre looking at this product.

These look to be great but they did not fit my hoops, I ordered the wrong size so I had to return them

I bought this when I ran out of the Floriani brand cutaway stabilizer that I got at the Babylock dealer. I like this New Brothread brand much better—it’s softer, easier to hoop, yet feels every bit as sturdy. It drapes rather than wanting to fold and crease. I saw some reviews claiming this is more like a tear away than a cutaway, but I strongly disagree. I was not able to tear this at all. Finally, I made several vinyl snap tabs and cord wraps and found those made with New Brothread stabilizer easier to trim than those made with the Floriani brand. (Same scissors, vinyl, and patterns, so apples to apples.) I’ll definitely look for this when I need more.

Wonderful product

I have been going through a lot of stabilizer lately, as I am preparing for a craft show. This has been the perfect size and weight for ALL of my projects. I always keep a spare one in my room.

This whole roll of cutaway stabilizer is wrinkled. It looks like the roll was squeezed. If you are using a thin fabric, I think the wrinkles would show through. I wont be buying this again. For now, I am using a 2nd layer of normal cutaway over it, just so I dont waste it. Disappointing.

This is the second or third time I will be buying this. It used to be thicker than this, and more opaque. Brothread products used to be real good, I wonder what happened to quality control

I’ve bought from this seller a few times with no issue. this last order was horrible. Htv would get a lot of air bubbles and was sticky after peel. Won’t be buying from them no more.
