I keep these bags in my closet and it is amazing how much water they absorb.

This is the only brand that I ever use. I’ve tried the cheaper ones they don’t do as well a job.

So thankful that a friend recommended this product for our coastal home. It effectively removes excess moisture from the air, so your home never smells musty. This product absorbs a shocking amount of moisture, so be prepared to replace these every couple of months.

I almost cut the plastic flap off the bottom, then realized that it fills up with water as the crystals absorb moisture. They last me about a month and I hand them in my closet to help prevent damp clothing. I live in Charleston, SC so its pretty humid here. The smell/scent is strong at first but quickly diminishes within a couple days. I do wish it lasted longer though. Ive used the buckets form this same brand but they dont seem to work nearly as well as these bags... especially since I can hang this on the clothes post in the closet so that they are in with the clothes, where the bucket has to sit on a shelf or on the floor. The bucket version doesnt seem to smell as strong and also doesnt seem to capture the moisture as well. This bad really fills up with water as the crystals dissolve so it is very clear that it is working... Its actually quite surprising how much moisture they draw. Imagine how damp and moldy my clothes would be if all that water wasnt drawn out of the closet!! If they werent on the expensive side, Id hand 2 or 3 at a time in there but that would be too much $ in my case for one month!!!

DID NOT WORK IN MY BASEMENT

We have been purchasing these for years. They help keep our closets smelling fresh. They are extremely easy to use and the only maintenance is having to replace them once all the crystals are gone. You then simply discard the entire used bag and hang a new one. I feel theyre a little overpriced, but they work well and are convenient.

As a live-aboard cruiser these are staple item in every closet.
