This is an excellent product. It really does absorb moisture in my home. I have a problem with the price. I went to Home Depot and got the exact same product for $11 and some change. I will always buy from home depot.

I’ve needed something to absorb moisture in my laundry room and my closet, and these are perfect! I’ve had them for less than a week and they’ve already absorbed a ton of water. Both areas aren’t musty or humid anymore! Since they hang, they stay out of the way. I don’t notice the smell much but it is nice.

Have used the product for years, pulls the moisture out of the air, really like it for closets and basements , but use it thru out the house as I live in a damp area

I used this product to remove moisture from the electrical system in my cadillac. Water had gotten down into the electrical mechanics of the door and was causing my electrical system to go crazy(randomly rolling down the rear window, not being able to roll it back up until it felt like it..I purchased this produce, hung it in my vehicle and have not had an issue since..

I didn’t realize DampRid now makes scented bags, until I opened the Amazon box. I never look at the pictures, & it didn’t talk about scent in the description. I did finally find it way down below ‘Have a question?’ It works great, but I won’t be able to hang it in my closet. I’m pretty sure I can use it under my kitchen sink, so there’s the up side.

I bought this for my basement that started smelling musty and moldy this summer. I noticed a change in the air after maybe three days. I also started to see the bag fill with moisture which shows Judy how much was in the air there. I also put one in my garage after seeing the results and same thing. Air smells better and it’s collecting a ton of moisture. I intent to now put some in my house closets that have moisture/scent issues.

Theses damp red hanging bags are the easiest to use scent and Humidy remover for closets or small spaces. Just take off the exterior plastic and hang on the closet pole. In a high Humidy area in the Sumer these bags will last no longer than 30 days and will be filed with water. I use this as. Summer treatment for all compartments to eliminate mold odor and water. I also use a qty f these hanging bags in the engine compartment to freshen up the area and remove water. If you are using this on a boat you will need a min of 6 bags for the closets space and engine compartments. During the summer the bags all typically fill in less than 30 days, and during the fall or winter you can expect 60 days, in an extreme high Humidy area (on the water In a boat) . These are well worth the cost to eliminate potential mold or water issues, and the added benefit is that they provide a fresh smell. During the winter the bags will free below freezing temps, but the bags will not break as they have additional space for expansion. I have not experienced any leaks from these bags during 3 years of use with fresh bags every season for the summer and winter.

    Greater than one week

Damp Rid does a very good job absorbing moisture from the air. Lasts quite awhile before it needs to be changed.
