I have several pairs of the Darn Tough lightweight socks for summer, this is my first pair of a more medium cushion sock and they are wonderful. Love Darn Tough Socks and their Vermont company.

Best socks hands down

These are wool socks that do not turn into floppy amorphous fiber blobs after wearing and washing a few dozen times. They do all the nifty things they are supposed to do. They are expensive, but they are worth it. People will envy your socks when their cheap socks fall off their feet after a dozen washings and a couple hundred miles.

Took them on a hike and they are awesome. Kept my feet comfortable while going through water and rocks

Awesome, although i wish you could get these as part of the Global shipping program. For those of us in far away lands (Australia for me) a shipping forwarder is expensive, but totaly worth it! I have had one pair of these socks for 3 years (longer than any other pair of socks, i am pretty rough on them due to flat feet and the stupid shoes and corrective measures required. The old pair shows no sign of an holes or excessive wear. Even though shipping doubles the price, i will still continue to wear these exclusively.

Tremendous socks! I wear them almost every day now. Ive never worn socks that modulate temperature so perfectly--my feet are dry, cool and warm as desired all day. Plus they dont pick up odors as quickly or potently as normal cotton socks (so a big thumbs up from my wife on that count). Expensive? Try a pair and I bet you end up thinking theyre priced just right given their quality and performance.

Best socks you will ever own. The socks are expensive but indestructible.
