Its great, really. I take my Switch with me when I go on a long car/bus/plane rides or in an overnight bag when staying away from home. The switch fits real snug in its soft home and the case is hard and sturdy outside. Im not about to try throwing it on the sidewalk and jumping on it, but Im not worried about dropping it or it shifting to the bottom of my luggage or bag. The top of the case has a zipper compartment for keeping accessories like extra joy cons or earbuds, but the one thing I always want to bring doesnt fit quite right: the AC adapter. The adapter is just a little too thick to fit nicely. I can get it in there and close the zipper as well, but it feels a little too snug when Im zipping up the case. Its like overstuffing your backpack. It fits, but Im probably stressing the product enough that itll reduce its life. And good luck keeping any other bulky items in the zipper bag with it. I especially wouldnt feel comfortable squishing it in this way if I were keeping any game cartridges in the little slots between the bag and the console. I dont use those anyway, so its a non-issue for me. I tried to show this in the attached pictures. You can see the adapter fits, but I have to squeeze the case to actually close it, specifically because of how thick the adapter is.

I got this for my Switch OLED and it’s pretty much near perfect. I think this is the ideal carrying case because: - Standard black case with no logos that doesn’t stand out and/or say STEAL ME - Protective outer shell - Pull strap for getting out your Switch - There’s a buffer zone under the Switch console in case it’s dropped - Grooves in the corners for Joycon triggers - Zipper pouch inside for accessories (I keep earbuds, wrist straps, and USB-C charger in mine) - Nylon zipper inside that doesn’t scratch anything - Protective Flaps protect the Switch screen and hold 20 game cartridges - Multiple things holding Switch in place (Velcro, outer zipper, etc.) They pretty much thought of everything with this case. I had the other Switch case made by this brand for my v1 and v2 Switches. It’s exactly the same, except it has a larger zipper pouch inside for more storage. I only like to carry earbuds and a charger with mine, so this one was perfect.

It does its job but I really wish it came in more colors. I would have loved to buy this is in literally any color but black. I thought I misplaced it once and lost my mind stressing about it but it had just camouflaged itself among numerous other dark things. This is an item that really doesnt need to be black because its for a gaming system so a nice red or yellow or something would be awesome. Otherwise, hard sturdy case with adequate storage space for me. Only real complaint is that I really wish it didnt come in only black.

Product is great! Has a hard case that is very protective, and well built. Only issue is the Hardcastle makes it not flexible, so dont cram things in as I see it could be a problem. But still exactly as described, and good buy.

Doesnt take up too much space and its perfect for travel. Great going thru TSA in dallas they never ask us to take it out. Other airports do ask but wr Dont need to open the case. Also doesnt take up too much space in carryon bag. Super easy to use. Fits everything u need.

The hard case is nice for travel. My only complaint is that it isnt quite large enough to fit in all cords and components of the switch which would be nice for when traveling. This is probably ideal if youre wanting to use the case for just short trips.

Overall pretty good case so far. Does what we got it for. However, if your child or whoever goes to pick it up hopefully it is zipped all the way. The handle is on the opposite side of the zipper so anything can fall out if you are not careful. I’d try finding one with a zipper on the same side of the handle if you can.
