> 3 dayTerminal cups just dont compare. These are much easier to install and wont flex or leak. Drill a ¼ hole, tap it in, and tighten the nut on the back side...done. Only disadvantage is that these protrude ¾ from the box, unless you cut a hole and mount a block inside to flush mount yourself.

> 3 dayExcellent binding posts. I ordered a terminal cup but when it arrived it was disappointed in how craptacular it was. One spring did not work at all, and the other stuck halfway open. Junk. While I was waiting for the terminal cup to arrive I did more research into making my first sub box. These make much more sense to me. Why use a 2 hole saw on a sealed box, only to replace the wood with thin plastic with terminals that will leak? After learning about the method of simply using ring connectors, bolts and nuts along with some sealant the 2 hole and terminal cup started to look pretty poorly though out. I was about to decide to use this method when I stumbled on a link to this product through another vendor. I read up on these and found out that they met my needs and looked very nice, like what you would expect from a pro box builder or shop. I ordered a set. I received them. They are very well made and please me greatly. I cannot wait to get them installed in my new box. Thanks to Daytoon for the great and well made product!

Greater than one weekVery high quality parts. Installed them in a custom MDF box covered in real carbon fiber. They have a splined press fit diameter, and if the mounting hole is drilled to the correct size, the press fit seals the posts. They are larger than I thought, and had plenty of threaded length for the 3/4 MDF speaker box wall. I recommend them for any quality audio application.

Greater than one weekUse these for custom sub boxes for cars and they work great. Easy to seal up, look great, perform great sand much easier than cutting a big hole for a cup style and trying to seal that up. These are my new go to and def worth the price.

Greater than one weekI am using these to replace some gold plated spring loaded connecters for my sub box. The original connectors has flimsy tabs for you female Spade Connectors. These are anything but flimsy. So when you put on the Spade it doesnt bend. It also accepts solder when fluxed.

Greater than one weekI have officially said goodbye to terminal cups forever. These binding posts are built to last, they dont leak air, theyre very easy to install, they handle large wire sizes, and theyre 100% reusable. I couldnt have asked for a better alternative to terminal cups for my subwoofer enclosures. Even Dave the Box Guy uses them. That tells you something right there.
