> 3 dayUpdate: the company reached out to me and replaced the projector and the replacement came with a remote! I really appreciate the remote after setting up the first one by using the buttons on the projector. In all it’s a good projector for the price point and the company stands behind it. Start: Projector came and we setup a video, picture was OK, not great but not bad for watching video. Will not focus properly and only a small portion of the screen is actually in focus. Not terrible when youre watching a movie that has changes in focal point but for reading or details its impossible no matter where you place the projector. I set it up and used it a couple times over the last few months and decided to keep it, only later did i realize it was missing parts (no IR remote) and i have not been able to find any way to get in touch with the manufacturer. In short im disappointed in the quality and company for not including all parts. Im past the return window so im stuck with it now as is.

> 3 dayWe were surprised how bright the screen was. We project it on a 120” screen and it was very clear and bright. We were also were surprised how much better the speaker was compared to the older one we had. We activated the wifi and cast through our phone and it worked great. We also used the hdmi cord and it also worked just as expected. We are very happy with our purchase.

> 3 dayThe picture is very good. Not great but for the money…good. The fan is loud though. If using in a media room you can definitely hear it and it takes away from the experience.

> 3 dayWe’ve used the projector once so far to watch a movie outside. Because of the high luminescence of it, we were able to start watching during dusk. The picture quality is so good that we plan to use it as our main “tv”, replacing our 60” led tv. If it’s too much hassle to take down after we mount it, we’ll probably by another to use outside.

> 3 dayThis is probably the best projector you can get in this price range. Its quite bright with great picture quality and contrast, even in a moderately lit room (though of course dim light or dark is ideal and quite stunning). Something I learned today that made me write this review is that when I was doing weekly cleaning, I noticed it has a replacable filter for the air intake. Projectors I have had in the past did not have this and quickly accumulated dust. You do not want to have to take a projector apart and clean it. Its a pain, and you will never have the out-of-the-box picture quality again. I do not anticipate that being an issue here. The speaker isnt that shabby really, but I do recommend external speakers for a full home theater experience. ALSO. You can set picture settings when you are actually on a video input (e.g. at the Prime or Roku home screen). This was my largest confusion with this product as it is not in the projectors own menu.

> 3 dayI am not an expert in electronics, but this device was fairly simple to set up to use! I purchased because a friend purchased the exact one recently and she showed me all the great features of this product! For example, the projector can be set up in a discreet area out of the way of the audience viewing a screen. I was amazed how she pulled photos off of her phone to also project on the screen! I used this projector for family photos at a reunion. It will also be useful if I present a program about a historic home (currently on the board) to an organization.

> 3 dayThis projector has an amazing picture and great sound! I highly recommend it. However, until I purchased a good HDMI adapter cable, the picture was split and had a green tint. If you plan to connect this to an Apple device, I recommend purchasing a “USB-C to HDMI” cable—Platinum brand worked for me.

> 3 dayI ordered this projector so we could do movie nights in our neighborhood and let the kids enjoy some time together. My son and I set it up immediately to test it out in the space we are going to use. We were impressed by the clarity and definition. We easily hooked up a soundbar as the space was big and needed a little extra sound than what the speaker provided but the internal speaker was very good also. We are excited to have our first movie night for the kids in the next month.

> 3 dayGreat picture and simple setup. Only supports 2.4 WiFi so my tests lagged a bit. Also not able to stream YouTube TV but was able to stream from other apps, likely a YouTube issue.

> 3 dayI was on the lookout for an inexpensive, top-of-the-line projector for my basement. This projector fits the bill, it is not very pricey like the one which we have today Epson 730HD (600$). I kind of became allergic to any kind of pricey gadgets which become obsolete in a matter of few years, be it phones, laptops, or projectors. Any repair or replacement with those units is a kind of pain. Another big differentiator with this unit is it has a Wi-Fi connection which is a must for hanging it to the ceiling without wires. It easily connects to your Smartphones be it Apple or Android, there is no hassle of any wires or adapters here. I am kind of sold on these 2 points. Above all this unit has 8500 Lumens Brightness compare to 3000 Lumens with 730HD, 1920*1080P resolutions compare to 1280*720p on our Epson. I am pretty impressed with the color brightness and image clarity it produces compared to our expensive Epson unit. I am also impressed with the speakers on the unit, it boasts about built-in dual stereo speakers (5W) with an SRS sound system, which is completely non-existent on the Epson. I had to always connect the Epson to my external speakers without which we cannot watch any movie or a game. The sound quality on this unit is a bonus which I was not looking for. This unit gives a complete home-theater experience without a big dent in your pocket. I am yet to hang it to our ceiling in our basement, however, it won’t be a big issue, this unit is comparatively very compact and light-in-weight and shall go there without any hassles.
