D&D PowerDrive - ORB-12827-144959-4LK950 Kevlar Replacement Belt AYP Sears Roper Husqvarna, 1/2 x 95, 4LK Section, Rubber

I purchased this belt on May 6 was delivered on May 10th. Only last two months and the belt broke in two. All pulled are also new so not the problem. Don’t recommend this belt at all. It was on a craftsman LT2000.

We love these belts and ordering them in multiples at a time for our lawn mower.

It was of proper size

Mowed fine the first day. I then used the tractor for something else without mowing and I think the belt was a little short and rubbed even when disengaged and burned through most of the belt. Tried mowing second time and nothing. Pulled belt off and it is trashed. Conclusion is to get a longer one if you want to be able to drive without mowing (assuming your mower calls for 95.5).

I should have read the reviews and the product description. Bought this belt for a Craftsman riding mower. The mfg recommends belt #144959. This belt was not like the one that I removed from the mower. The belt I received had no packaging, and is flimsy in comparison to the belt I took off the mower. I needed it. Thought it would not last as long but maybe through this season. Oh brother, it lasted maybe 10 minutes, if that. The heat from the mower stretched it out and it was coming apart, frayed already. Should NOT be an Amazon Choice. So disappointing. Would absolutely not recommend for a Craftsman riding mower.

It was a tight fit, but its working great.

The belt I received is as described nice and blue with a clearly visible size indicator printed on a label on the side of the belt 95 x1/2. Came in a non see through white plastic pouch. Powered through tall grass where the prior belt just couldnt cut it any longer - in the literal and practical sense of the word.

I ordered a belt and got it in. I promptly put it on and went straight to cutting my lawn. I cut about five feet when it broke. I was upset that it broke but I had noticed that it felt soft and that one portion of the belt looked deformed but thought I would give it a try anyway. As it turns out, my assumption was obviously correct. I turned it into Amazon for a exchange and I got it about 2-3 days later, then one of my pulleys broke just after I installed the 2nd and finished the front yard, which is a totally different review for another product on Amazon. As for what happened to the 2nd belt, when the pulley broke that belt slid, created a smokey fog, that forced my eyes shut once I stopped and turned the motor off, and turned toasty black on the back side but it never broke. I wasnt certain if it would survive even if I replaced the pulley but I decided to bet on it, after all I couldnt exchange it for another because it wasnt defective, it wasnt broken due to quality issues and its cause was mechanical failure that was not due to this seller. I ordered the pulleys (replaced both deck bearing pulleys to exercise caution) and installed them and this 2nd belt, which is more dense and is much tougher than even I expected, compared to the first. I just mowed the entire property without any issues. Its a shame that it doesnt have that wonderful new pulley color and look but as long as it works, I can live with that and i will come back to this seller again as long as the quality is as good as the 2nd pulley currently seems.

Belt does not squeal and works great.
