UPDATE: Year 2 still going strong hand keeping my crawl space dry! I had encapsulated my crawl space, but I didn’t want to install a large dehumidifier. My cabin is just 320 sq ft; so, I figured that a room dehumidifier would be sufficient. I had doubts that it would work because crawl spaces can get pretty humid during summer. But boy, was I pleasantly surprised! This little dehumidifier is super efficient, but most importantly it is TOUGH! It helped keep the crawl space dry, even on super humid days . The wood from the floor joists were BONE DRY! Because of this, there is absolutely no mildewy smell in my crawl space. I bought a second one just in case this one would give out, but, no, it kept going strong without a problem, 24 HOURS PER DAY, day after day. I just couldn’t believe how strong and efficient this little dehumidifier was. Just to note, like with everything else, it has to be cared for. But maintenance is super easy, just common sense: keep the reservoir clean and check the vents for dust and debris (since in my case it’s in the crawl space). I am very happy with this product! I absolutely love it! Worth every penny!

This mini-dehumidifier is very small and compact. It is portable and can be taken from one room to another. It extracts moisture from your air and is rated for smaller rooms. You empty the reservoir when it fills up and the air moisture would be lower and more comfortable. Some people also require lower humidity for certain applications. If you’re looking for a compact and portable dehumidifier, this is one of the smaller and more portable options.

I purchased this unit on Prime Day after being encouraged by others to use a dehumidifier in my Texas home. My only regret is not doing this a long time ago! I am appalled at the amount of water this unit pulls from the air in my small home (<1500 square feet). Unfortunately I do not have a way to hook up a drain so I am emptying it manually....3 times a day! It is full or almost full in the morning when we wake up, then again mid afternoon and then by bedtime its mostly full again. We use the water for the potted plants. Even though this unit says that it covers a 2000 sq foot space, if you are using it in a home with multiple rooms do not expect it to make the entire house markedly less humid. I am currently using this in the largest open area space in my home during the day and then moving it into the bedroom at night. The difference in the way the air feels is noticeable.

Works well for the small space we have!

I have bought three of these for my RV. They work great in my bathroom, bedroom, and the undercarriage. I have trouble with the smell put off by all types of dehumidifiers I’ve tried (it could be something like ozone, maybe?), so I only run them during the day in the bedroom or at night for the bathrooms. The moisture under my dog’s bed, for example, is gone by the end of the day and there is water in the container. It works great during rain/snow too! Notes: The plug does get warm, so I really like my schedule of running it for 8-12 hours and letting it rest. I take the chamber apart, empty it, and let it air dry during that time too. Empty it often to prevent mildew! I’ve also treated mine with Microban as an extra layer of mold protection.

I put this dehumidifier in my restroom since it’s always so humid in there. It works really good, it pulls so much moisture so quick. The tank is big so it does have more room so I don’t have to dump out so quickly.

This is a really nice dehumidifier. I notice a difference in air quality already. We were having a mildew and mold problem, so we needed this for after remediation. I Can tell a difference in when I pickup clothes and they’re no longer damp, the bathroom dries way faster, and the air Is clearer. It’s pretty quiet, too. Nice easy addition and I only have to empty every couple days. I definitely recommend!

*** updated review*** After I posted my unhappiness here on Amazon, someone from the company reached out and did everything in their power to make me happy. I was sent a new unit free of charge and asked repeatedly if it was working properly. They did their best to show they truly cared that I was happy with their product. Right now, its working very well. I hope it will continue to for a long time. Customer service sure makes a difference! Worked great for 11 months then started making a very loud noise. Didnt feel safe to use it anymore because of fire hazard, especially. Wrote 2 emails to customer service via their website...saw that it has a year warranty...and no one has written me back. Im guessing they will wait until my year warranty has expired. Sigh.

The machine is not silent. It does make a humming sound. While its not loud, its not something I want to listen to all the time so I will be returning this and looking for another option. UPDATE: the seller sent me a replacement product. In the meantime I had purchased a similar product made by Pohll Schmitt. I guess no dehu is completely silent - while the replacement product does still have a humming sound, I can say it is quieter than the competitor.
