Dell 130W Watt PA-4E AC DC 19.5V Power Adapter Battery Charger Brick with Cord

This is my second power adapter replacement. The first replacement worked fine, but over time the cord bent unavoidably between the laptop and the bit that lights up, it pulled apart until the wires were exposed, and all our innovations to keep it together failed until the wires frayed and it stopped working. This one, the plug slips out of the laptop at the slightest movement. It works fine so far, but that constant slippage is annoying. Update: 7/20/2021 - same thing happened with the plug as with the first one. Based on previous experience, it wont be long before its unusable.

Bought this charger after my original charger failed. I think it was the dreaded internal capacitor issue that some of the DELL chargers have. This worked like a charm. Have had no problem. I rarely ever get seating issues with the chargers barrel plug. Good buy.

I repurchased the charger that came with my dell laptop. The original broke by the laptop plug and was sparking, so I replaced it with something offbrand that stopped working after 6 months due to wattage issues. This one works better than the offbrand options without a doubt. I hate how short the cord is - that is why the original became damaged over time. I wish theyd add 1-2 feet to the cord to make it easier to plug it in bedside and use the laptop on a queen bed, or even a school desk.

Great value as Dell wanted 3 times the price for the exact same part.

Item arrived quickly and it works. Now I can travel between home and office with lappy and dont have to drag cords.
