> 3 dayTo be clear, this is a review of the 24 model, not the 27. Ive only had it for a couple days, so Ill have to wait and see whether my long-term experience matches my initial impressions, but so far it has met all my expectations. Easy to assemble and hook up, with no stuck pixels or other cosmetic issues. It only comes with an HDMI cable so I had to buy a DisplayPort cable separately but thats not a big deal. Also, I was pleased to discover that it does indeed support G-Sync. The store page listings gave me the impression that the 24 and 27 models both support FreeSync but only the bigger one had G-Sync, so when I ordered the smaller one I expected to have to figure out how to make FreeSync work with my PCs Nvidia card. But the actual packaging (and a sticker on the stand base) make it clear that the 24 one absolutely does support G-Sync too, and once I had it connected it was easy to enable it from the Nvidia control panel. Im upgrading from a basic 60 hz office-style monitor, so Ive immediately noticed a big difference when gaming. My PC isnt particularly powerful, so most games cant stay above 100 fps without turning down the graphics settings, but even running at 80-90 fps, everything feel noticeably smoother. The 1 ms response time also makes a big difference there - my old monitor had an input lag of something like 8 ms. And G-Sync seems to be doing its job as far as avoiding tearing or stuttering, and even when I keep the graphics settings high and allow the framerate to fluctuate, it still feels smooth. The overall image also looks brighter, clearer and sharper, with noticeably more vibrant colors. Thats especially true when gaming but it even applies just to web browsing. As gaming monitors go, this one is pretty much the most affordable option without sacrificing quality, so its probably outclassed by most other gaming screens, but if youre upgrading from a generic 60 hz monitor its a substantial improvement. My only complaint is that, for whatever reason, the default gamma setting is way, way too high, so when I first plugged it in the whole thing looked really washed out, with colors that were actually less bright than on my old monitor. At first I thought it was a contrast problem so I tried to fiddle with the monitors own contrast and brightness settings but that didnt work. But then I went into the Nvidia control panel and turned the gamma down by about 30% and voila - instant fix.

> 3 dayBought this monitor for my husband because of the good reviews but his experience with it was very bad. Heres his review Issues: 1. All the built in presets look washed out. Seriously? This was Dells chance to impress but all settings are horrible. Did some googling and cant find a good custom setting that suits my taste. With all the great reviews saying the picture quality is great... Im left to wonder HOW?? Maybe I got a dud. 2. Pixelating display for some games. There is visible pixelation when you focus on certain objects on the screen, the pixelation goes away once you stop moving. I dont know if this is another form of ghosting, I didnt feel like I wanted to waste my time finding a solution for it. None of these issues appeared in older less expensive monitor that Ive used 3. I know its a TN panel but even the slightest vertical head movement would result in contrast change, pair that with the washed color... its really not acceptable for the price you are paying Returned. Sad, I wanted to like it and Ive been using Dell products for a long time and this one was a big disappointment. Bought an ASUS VG259Q... the difference was night and day for an extra 50$. None of the problems above, not all presets was to my liking but none of them appeared washed. Glad I returned this Dell and went with the other brand.

> 3 dayThey sorta lied about the 144hz but thats fine because it was still good no dead pixels or anything but there some ghosting so I would be careful but it generates my console gameplay pretty well and no serious issues so far.

> 3 dayI have been using this one for about 2 months now and I cant complain. I get a solid 60fps on most of my games & 120fps on the games that support it and its very smooth all around. Freesync is great. The ComfortView preset is great for reducing eye-strain. The colors are okay, but Im definitely no expert on that aspect. The one thing I wish it had was some sort of small speaker system or something so I could hear games without having to put my headset on, but its a minor gripe considering the price point. Overall, its a very solid budget monitor if you are looking for one for your Series S like I was.

Greater than one weekGot it for my broda and he said he likes it but unfortunately for some reason he needs a gpu since he doesnt have one which makes him get to only 120 hertz. I have a Nvidia GPU and when I used it for a test I get 144 hertz...

> 3 dayThe cookie palette wasn’t the best but it was good enough. Besides that everything else has been awesome!

> 3 dayThis was a good purchase for a nice 144 hz monitor. The color needed some adjusting but it wasnt anything that couldnt be fixed with NVidia control panel.

> 3 dayThe larger size was recommended by my IT company (as I work from home) but I did not have a lot of space. Found this monitor and it works perfect for spreadsheets, CAD viewer program, ppt, YouTube, etc.. Sleek exterior look and a nice quality display, I’m happy!

> 3 dayThis is my fault, the product was great but the driver issues I had were insane. Once I plugged in the monitor, the monitor had tearing issues and also disconnected my other monitor. Also, the monitor would only go up to 63 fps before installing drivers. After installing new drivers and restarting my computer, the problems were fixed.

> 3 dayMonitor works like it should. Good picture and refresh rate. My only gripe is that it was shipped in its original box last at the edge of my front porch. You can clearly see Dell and Gaming Monitor on the box. My neighbors suck and will take a penny if they can. At least put a cover box/bag over it for shipping.
