Nice monitor, but from the photos I thought the screen was curved but it isn’t. Still satisfied with my purchase.

This monitor is an average gaming monitor but a good bang for your buck. If you turn the response time to “extreme” you will get a ghosting effect. (If you don’t know much about monitors, look up monitor ghosting on YouTube) I had to lower the setting down for my colors to get better in higher FPS games. If I had to redo my purchase, I might’ve saved up my money to get a better quality monitor

tl;dr: I got two of these because the specs looked good on paper and they were cheaper than others with similar specs. Sadly once I hooked them up and saw a live picture I realized why they were so cheap--the colors are horribly washed out. Having two side-by-side makes the controls for the one on the left really hard to work, too. I wanted a pair of monitors with 1) about 23-24 inches diagonal, 2) 1080p resolution, 3) height and tilt adjustment, 4) DP and HDMI inputs, 5) 120Hz or more refresh and fast response time, 6) FreeSync and/or G-Sync compatibility, 7) narrow side bezels, 8) down-facing ports if possible, and, of course, 9) in my budget. These look great on paper, meeting all my requirements. Plus, these not only have FreeSync, they have FreeSync Premium AND G-Sync compatibility (I know G-Sync Compatible is not the same as G-Sync, but all true G-Sync monitors are too expensive for my budget; also, you might be interested to know these monitors came with a G-Sync decal on the stand bases not pictured in the product listing). These also have 3-year advanced exchange service and premium panel exchange. Opinions differ but I trust Dell, especially their premium/business class products, based on past experience. Finally, the AC/DC converter is built in to the monitor so you dont have to deal with a brick on the power cord. Unfortunately while, as I said, these look good on paper, IRL the picture colors look very muted, dull, and washed out. Yes, there are some adjustments you can make; and no, its not bad enough for me to want to return them, especially given all the other good points about them--but it sure was a big disappointment when I saw my brand new toys light up for the first time. Additionally--and I didnt even think about this before I got them--the control buttons are on the back right side, so if you put two of these right next to each other the controls of the left one are hard to work. Ergonomically speaking, the control placement for a single monitor is actually pretty good (although the five-way joystick is a little touchy...and Im not really sure why additional buttons are even needed with a five-way joystick) but with two side-by-side its good for one and really bad for the other. Also, this monitor has a headphone jack (but not on the front or somewhere easy to reach). I like having a Fire TV Stick connected to an Xbox One connected to one of my two PC monitors, and I thought running a stereo audio cable from the headphone jack of the monitor to the line input of my PC would allow me to hear the Fire TV/Xbox sound through my PC, but it didnt work. Maybe because the output and input levels were unbalanced...maybe because I didnt configure sound settings correctly...who knows. I gave up quickly and didnt actually try connecting wired headphones to the monitor to see if that worked because it isnt a desirable solution for my setup...and I dont want to have to buy a separate converter/extractor. All in all if youre looking for a budget-friendly, entry-level gaming monitor with a good guarantee/warranty and you want some of this ones specific features (like height adjustment, which isnt all that common), this is a good value...just keep in mind it will be hard to work the controls of the left monitor in a side-by-side setup and youre going to have to spend some time adjusting the color, brightness, contrast, etc. both on the monitor and on your PC.

I purchased this on cyber Monday so I was attracted to the price and specs. I’m not a gamer but a home office monkey. Working with multiple ERP systems and excel sheets. It was laggy at first until the software was downloaded onto the computer and restarted. I manually changed the refresh rate as well. After that it was working fast. No lag. The picture did seem a little foggy but I played around with the picture quality controls until it was comfortable. For the price I would recommend and buy again.

First monitor was bad, replacement is fine. Both units I received make electronic noise while turned on so they used some Very cheap internal parts in this unit. Picture is better on colors than other TN monitors I have used in the past. One thing that stands out about this monitor is the all black design is much better than 99% of other ugly designs of monitors, this look is much appreciated. At $170 being cheaper than most of its competitors it was a fair purchase. However if you can find a better price and you like the specs/design I would say go for that instead nothing too special about this monitor. One major reason I bought this monitor is for a TN panel because 144hz with less motion blur and faster response than other panel types. Also its appreciated that this monitor uses a flat panel and Not curved. Important thing to note is Dell is a jerk and does NOT include a DisplayPort cable, So if you want 144hz and Free/Gsync youll need to spend an extra $10 making real Total price about $195. About 4 years ago I had 144hz monitor for $150 that came with DisplayPort cable, so as with most things price is inflated during Covid times. If your tight on a budget MonoPrice.com I see has an openbox 144hz monitor for $130 and regular price $150 for that monitor. I hope my review was helpful!

It only lasted a year and when I contacted Dell I sent them a picture of what was happening with it and they said it was physically damaged which wasnt true one night it was fine turned it on next night it wasnt no one else was around it I assume this is a tactic they use to keep from standing behind the product

After returning my LG UltraGear 24GL600F-B for its horrible color banding, I was worried that I wouldnt find anything better in this price range for gaming AND artwork. I do a lot on my computer, and I need a monitor that supports that. No pixel issues, the stand is amazing, the whole thing is ergonomic with how it stands higher up than others, allowing you to view at a more natural angle. The thing is really close to being borderless, it looks so smooth and doesnt suffer from any glare issues. I only had to adjust my computers gamma, and going into testing contrast, black and white saturation, etc through Lagom, I can say this monitor has surprised me. Im just so glad I decided to refund that other one, and go for this. Who knew Dell makes such good monitors? I guess I do now.

This monitor is very good for the money. It offers high refresh rate, and great image quality if you spend the time to adjust the settings. The color presets are terrible, but it is absolutely possible to dial in a great image on this monitor. The viewing angles are okay, the color distorts pretty quickly when not looking straight at the screen, but that is to be expected with any panel of this type. For gaming I think this is the best budget pick I have found. The stand is nice and adjustable for both height and angle.

monitor is spotless, no scuffs on the screen. picture quality is good, some adjustments are required to get the brightness/contrast/color better. heads up, youll probably want to go into your monitor settings and actually apply it to 144hz, mine was set to 60hz before I corrected it I play rainbow six siege on an i5 CPU with a gtx 1070 GPU, I can push 150-175 fps and the change from a 60hz monitor to this one is like night and day. I am not disappointed b this monitor

The monitor is awesome and has been a huge upgrade from my previous main monitor. The issue I have is that there are two different monitors shown in the listing. I was under the assumption I was getting a curved monitor because the primary pictures on Amazon are of a curved monitor. The monitor I got isn’t curved but if you look it up on dells website you’ll see it’s not curved. Other than the misrepresentation of products on the listing I am extremely happy with this monitor.
