It did not work properly for the XPS 15

So far so good, I left my original charger at a holiday inn hundreds of miles away and didnt realize until I booted up my laptop at home. Promptly ordered this as a replacement and it came in 2 days. Works like the original so far. Its only been a day. This is much cheaper like almost 50% less than ordering from dell directly for a replacement adapter.
