I originally had a couple of these monitors for my work-from-home setup through my employer. I was struck by how simple they were to setup and how large and well-made they seemed to be. When it came time to upgrade my own setup, these were the obvious choice for monitors and I couldnt be more satisfied.

If you are gamer/serious computer user who spends more than 4-5 hours day then, this is not for you. But if you fall in the other category, then this is good for the price and great brand behind it.

Nice Monitor, Great Seller, Great Price. I needed a vertical monitor and this is great.

This monitor comes with a display port (DP) to display port wire. It does not come with an HDMI wire. Also, this monitor does not support daisy chaining by DP to other monitors. I am using this with a Dell docking station that only has 1 HDMI port and 1 Mini DP port. I have two of these monitors. One is plugged in to the HDMI slot and works fine. The one that was plugged into the Mini DP slot had problems where when the computer went to sleep, the monitor would flicker on and off repeatedly searching for a signal. This is a known issue with Dell. I switched to using a Mini DP to HDMI wire for the second monitor and now I dont have any problems. Conclusion--if you are going to get this monitor, plan to only connect it via HDMI to avoid any issues.

I bought this as a second monitor over a year ago. It works decently well and I like that is has a rotating stand to allow for portrait display. However, there are a couple of negatives. 1. The color and contrast are not as good as my primary monitor, which was about the same price. 2. Theres often an after-image which persists for a half-hour or longer after I close a long running app. It does eventually fade, but can be annoying.

Good for the price. I would have had to pay more fot higher resolution.

I have a Dell computer so I always match it with a Dell monitor and have been very happy with them. Never had a problem. I upgrade because it is a larger screen. Love it.

Shopping for this monitor my criteria were: 27 inch screen, sits low (close to the desk surface) and decent text. I got all three. The stand is adjustable in height. I have it all the way down, putting the bottom of the screen about 2.4 inches above the desk surface. If you don’t wear bifocal or trifocal glasses you might wonder why I want it low. This way I don’t have to tip my head back much. The screen can be raised to put the bottom 7.6 inches above the desk surface. The screen can also be rotated 90 degrees to give a portrait display. This is probably for programmers who have more than one screen, and want to see lots of lines of code at once. I suppose there are other uses. I won’t be using it in the portrait position. All stand adjustments (height, rotation, and tilt) are easy and solid. The whole product is solidly built in every way. I have one gripe. There is only one 8 ½ by 11 sheet of paper for documentation, and it is all pictures, no words. The User Guide is on the internet but apparently Amazon does not want me to give you the link. How hard would it be for them to tell me that? It actually took me a while to find it. So after I had it all set up I looked at the user guide. It says I was supposed to power down the computer and unplug it before hooking up the monitor. I didn’t do any of that and it worked fine. The screen looks good from viewing angles between -45 to +45 degrees. Beyond that it gets a bit dim. Putting it together with the one sheet of pictures was simple, fast, and easy. No tools required. There are five buttons on the bottom edge of the monitor, on the right side. The one on the far right (I’ll call it #5) is power. The one next (#4) to it brings up a little menu. Then, pressing #3 gives a menu. From there it is pretty intuitive so I’ll stop with the guided tour. I thought the settings were pretty good out of the box. I turned down the brightness a bit, turned up the sharpness a bit, checked out the color settings and left them on Standard, and fiddled with the left-right, up-down centering to be sure it was correct. I don’t play a lot of games and I don’t have sixteen other monitors to compare it with, so I can’t make some of the comments the other reviewers have made along those lines. It is not designed for games, does not have speakers, and is not touch screen. You know that from reading the product description.

This monitor is beautiful. I dont play high end games. So, I cant comment on that. Its not really designed for high refresh rates or very high resolutions. I like how bright and clear the picture is. When viewed next to my old monitor, the difference was very dramatic. Now all of a sudden, my old monitor looked horrible.
