Power and screen control/navigation buttons on bottom edge of bezel. What, Dell engineers could not think of a more inaccessable place to put them? And now we have the DP video input connector! I wish that the people who come up with these so-called video standards would settle on something that they could stick with for a while so that the rest of us would not have to buy a different cable every time we change monitors! What was wrong with DVI-D? The horiz. resolution on this monitor is only around 300 pixels higher than the P2213 Dell monitor. Do we really need a new connector standard for that? Of course, the DP output from my video card will not drive the input on the monitor but hey, at least the HDMI works. So now, we are left to ponder why the DP does not work. Oh goodie! There is always some one out there trying to reinvent the wheel. Please, if something works, just leave it the hell alone for a while! We dont need a computer monitor that will blow our noses for us.

The monitor itself has been fine. If you purchase this item from a third party seller on Amazon, Dell will likely not honor the warranty. Even if you look up its service tag on Dells own site and it shows a 3 year warranty with 2.5 years remaining. Basically if you dont provide the address Dell shipped the monitor to, or it wasnt shipped to an authorized Dell reseller then they deem it ineligible. I have never had this issue before, having handled dozens of Dell warranty replacements. We typically have 1-2% of our Dell monitors that need warranty work. So if you have an issue past the sellers return period, youre out of luck. The large seller I purchased from offered a whopping $20 partial refund for a $250 monitor that is unusable after 5 months.

If you are gamer/serious computer user who spends more than 4-5 hours day then, this is not for you. But if you fall in the other category, then this is good for the price and great brand behind it.

This monitor started blacking out just over the 2 year mark. I thought I would get more mileage out of a Dell but apparently not. Buyer be ware.

I really like this monitor. Its a great size and adjusts lower than most Ive seen. Its a bit bright, but I suspect I could adjust that. Great resolution and display quality for software development and an occasional streamed movie. No complaints.

I bought this 1920x1080 (FHD) monitor for mostly text applications (Word documents and web pages) on Windows 10 based on the glowing reviews for document viewing. However I didnt like the pixelated/jagged edges of the fonts. Then I upgraded to a 2560x1440 (QHD) resolution monitor, and it made a day & night difference in text quality. The text is so much smoother at QHD resolution vs. this FHD resolution. When the text is smoother it is less straining to look at for a long time. Microsoft ClearType uses the extra resolution to smooth the fonts, and you can still keep the text at the same size as it would show on this monitor. On a QHD monitor the ideal setting is to set the Windows Display Scaling to 125% and you will have about the same size icons, web pages, task bar, etc. as this monitor with its scaling at 100% -- but with superior smoothing. The price difference is small to bump up to a QHD resolution monitor so I would highly recommend one of those instead.

Input switching is horrible! And Dell is aware of it. And they dont do anything about it. A software update would be nice, HELLOOOO! A lot of people have complained about it. Dell used to be my favorite brand, but I am so beyond done with Dell. Never buying anything Dell ever again. Waste of money! S*** brand!

Ive always used dell and have never been disappointed. Their monitors last forever. I just bought this one to go along with my other one that Ive had for 5 years and is still working. the colors are very accurate and the quality of the screen is just beautiful. Im surprised it was this cheap when I purchased it.

The screen is shape and works well in a office environment. I do wish that Dell offered a speaker that attaches directly to the monitor, like previous models. They do offer a speaker that attaches to the stand, but that does not work, if you are using a different stand.

Optimize your workspace with this efficient 27" Monitor built with an ultrathin bezel design, a small footprint and comfort-enhancing features. Pixel pitch: 0.311 mm.
