We mainly use it to surf the web and watch movies. Brightness is good. Picture quality is decent. But not as crisp as it could be.

Didnt think a 27 screen would make such a difference (I was previously working on a 24) but boy am I glad I made this purchase. My work involves heavy computer use (as do some of my hobbies) and Im very impressed with the quality of the monitor and display. Im not a gamer so do not use the rotating feature of this monitor.

Did not get this monitor for gaming. Like the detail and color. Nice input options. Excellent mounting with smooth vertical, as well as in plane rotation motion. Upgraded from old ASUS 22 inch monitor.

Took me a while to get used to it and adjust it, but it works very well. Just hoping it last as long as my last Samsung.

I have a Dell computer so I always match it with a Dell monitor and have been very happy with them. Never had a problem. I upgrade because it is a larger screen. Love it.

Its everything that I need and is perfect for what I am using it for. Which is normal internet activity. Cannot comment on any gaming experience, but video clips are displayed to my satisfaction. A huge upgrade from my 19 monitor.

As a theoretical statistician I read many articles, conduct many analyses, and write many articles. This monitor is light weight, simple to assemble, and has an easily manipulated orientation. Wonderful clarity, even though I have challenged vision in one eye. Simply put, a great flat screen monitor for my purposes.

I bought this as a second monitor over a year ago. It works decently well and I like that is has a rotating stand to allow for portrait display. However, there are a couple of negatives. 1. The color and contrast are not as good as my primary monitor, which was about the same price. 2. Theres often an after-image which persists for a half-hour or longer after I close a long running app. It does eventually fade, but can be annoying.

I needed a second monitor for working from home. This one sounded good and I like Dell. Its a little bigger than I had before so thats nice. Its very clear as well. I love the thin boarders as well. Power switch is on the bottom right edge which is easy to get to. It is easy to adjust. Up and down, left right and tilt. The stand base is flat and not that large. You can put things on it on the front under the monitor if you so desire. Nice upgrade for me.

i bought this by mistake to use in tandem with another 27 Dell monitor. Didnt realize until I plugged it in that the max resolution is 1920x1080 and the other one is 2560x1440. And it wasnt as sharp and the colors were quite a bit duller. My bad. Im sure this monitor will be fine if you dont need anything more than a bare-bones monitor. Otherwise, spend the difference and get the better one the first time. Also, if you are buying to use as a second monitor, MAKE SURE it matches the resolution of your existing monitor!
