> 24 hourThe monitor started blanking out within 40 days of purchase every 2 seconds and would not stop. I changed the cable, diagnosed the dell laptop, checked all settings, and updated the driver, but nothing helped. I called dell support, and they went thru an online time-consuming diagnostic that took forever. I gave up as I need a second working monitor urgently. I did not wait for del to replace under warranty which would have taken another 10-15 days. I called Amazon and requested a return even outside 30 days return period. I told them it was a defective unit. They agreed to return with a 20% restocking fee. I told them that since the unit is broken, you can not sell to another customer. Why would you be restocking? I guess 5+ years of Amazon prime membership does not help for a genuine customer concern. I canceled the items with a 20% penalty and ordered a different brand monitor.

> 24 hourSo, I picked up this monitor (SE2419HX) for a second monitor now that Im WFH permanently. Once I got it set up and turned on, I noticed that it wasnt as crisp as the other monitor I have (pretty much the same model, SE2419H). Then, soon as I went to adjust the sharpness, by first increasing it, it looked like garbage. Then soon as I turned it all the way down, it looks pretty good. Looked as sharp as the first one I got. Hopefully, this helps those on a Mac with a similar issue. On Windows, not sure if this will help you.

> 24 hourThe monitor arrived in a safe package. I started to work on the first day of my arrival. Assembling of the product is very easy and it came with HDMI cable. The screen is very perfect wide.

> 24 hourBought used... Expected a better product from Amazon even if it were second hand. This seller obviously did not have quality control or just wanted to get rid of his garbage. It came lopsided, and if you touch the monitor it turns off as the plug is very very loose! Not worth it.

> 24 hourThe Dell 23.8 HD monitor is excellent! Real easy to assemble, great clarity and color enhances picture quality. The controls could be a bit more user friendly but adequate. I suppose that would be my one criticism. The price is great. Im biased because Ive only owned Dell products. Dell products are top of the line for me. However, Dells customer service is straight out of hell.

> 24 hourI am not gaming or doing graphic work, so Im not getting into details of screen focus or graphics details. The colors are bright and good and the clarity is fine. I gave picture quality 4 stars only because Im used to glass screen and I havent used this screen for any movies, etc. Cant say its perfect, and again, Im used to a higher quality screen. Nice thin streamlined style and size. Very pleasing aesthetically. And since its just for paperwork, I cant comment about watching movies on it or gaming, but pleased so far as is and really happy with its overall look, design and stability. Good screen size for a few document windows open. I needed this as a second screen for document work. I am also not a PC person and so did a lot of reviewing for other screens to be sure. I am very happy so far. It hooked up to Mac computer very easily with purchase of Thunderbolt to HDMI cord. My Mac computer is about 5 years old, so I needed that adapter (Can buy approx. $5 and up. I only spent $8 on my adapter). It will depend on what you are hooking this screen up to if or what you might need. The main thing is I could not spend a lot of money, but didnt want uber cheap product. Pretty much I stuck with Dell for screen brand right from beginning. Trying to stay under $150. It is great screen for the price. The base looks nice and is Stable! I only paid about $130 for this screen and it is worth it. There are screens cost less, but spending an extra $20-$30 on this was a good decision and I almost spent $40 more on different model, but glad I went back to this model. Its a good screen in this price range and for what I need it for. There were many screens within the $100-$200 range and I am glad I backed down from a more expensive one to this one. Also this is a more recent model than some others in similar price range. Nice Screen!

> 24 hourvery customizable lighting, I really like it because I like to dim the screen as much as possible. The power cable has a very weak connection though, it easily slides out place loosing connection

> 24 hourI ordered this monitor to replace a 13 year old Dell monitor that finally died out. I thought 13 years is a good track record, so decided to stick with the Dell brand, and Im glad I did. This desktop monitor is light weight and produces a really clear, crisp display. It was delivered 2 days earlier than expected. Very happy I purchased it. NOTE TO AMAZON: When the monitor was delivered, I noticed one of the tape seals was cut. When I opened the box, it was clear someone opened that end and took out the VGA cable which was supposed to be included. No problem on my end, as I just used the HDMI cable - also included- to get it up and running, But thought you may want to know.
