Dell Universal Dock - D6000S, Equipped with USB-C/USB-A PowerShare Options, Connect Upto Three 4K Displays, LED Indicator, Black

I got this product for my work Mac so I can use my two ultrawide monitors at 3440x1440 at 100hz using DisplayPort cables. It works great but it required downloading DisplayLink Manager (From Dell) and a couple security permissions ensbled in the Mac to get it working. Loving it so far.

Works as intended

Product came exactly as described, in new condition and quickly. Perfect setup to hook my laptop up to 2 monitors.

Works for computers towers as well as laptops.

Followed the install instructions to the letter. Set up initially was easy. Upon awaking the computer the next day, monitor output was just crazy. Strange random numbers assigned to monitors, unable to reconfigure them, a real mess which necessitated doing the install all over again. Throughout this process, Dell Tech support was truly useless. They ask for a product number which they dont actually put on the D6000S, then they asked me what brand of monitors I use before telling me, There is nothing wrong with the docking station. The problem is with your monitors. You need to call their tech support line. Another individual assured me that the docking station is working fine and questioned whether or not my computer was compatible with it. I feared that if I called again someone might tell me the fault was with the wiring in my office and I should call an electrician. Not once did anyone at Dell tech support provide any - and I mean any - actual tech support. At the end of my call, she actually suggested I return this model to Amazon and order something else. When a companys own tech support people suggest you should buy someone elses gear, youd be wise to listen.

Failed after three weeks of usage and amazon refused to return it. Totally useless and not worth the $230!!

Works perfectly with my Asus personal laptop, but my work Lenovo Thinkpad, it only charges and has working USB. The monitor ports do not work/not recognized.

I needed a new docking station for my laptop with dual display. I had this exact model, but my company can no longer order these from Dell because of long wait time. I found this one on Amazon and got exactly what I wanted, no hassle and fast delivery.
