> 3 dayI have a moderate amount of thread. I have 142 spools of thread. Roughly 60 Coats & Clark thread, then Aurifil and Connecting Threads thread for quilt piecing, followed by Isacord Polyester Thread for FMQing. (free motion quilting). All of these are different sizes. Yet, I am able to easily fit ALL of these on the TWO thread stands. The pegs are 3 1/2 long, so I am to EASILY put TWO Coats & Clark threads on one peg, and also am able to put the bobbins with the thread if necessary. I had tried plastic thread cases, but they take up SOOO much room, and you are constantly searching for the right brand and then color for the job. Now I just have to glance up on my wall and choose the right thread! I am VERY pleased with this purchase! Oh, and others did mention that this was difficult to snap together, my hubby had no issues with it and had both of them together in under 10 minutes. So, since I didnt try doing it myself, I cant comment on if it would be hard for people (like me) with less strength, although it didnt look like my hubby was straining or anything to get these together. Oh, and DONT lose one of the pegs....they only give you 60 pegs for each thread stand. Not even 1 extra! LOL.

> 3 dayExtra long spool holders are fabulous for cone threads and stacking smaller spools together. The spacing works well and I was able to accommodate almost all of my thread.

> 3 dayDidn’t have any problems with assembly. I had the wooden holder previously, and I like this better.

> 3 dayThese spool organizations are so easy to assemble. Very sturdy. I actually bought 2 to hang on the wall for my Floriani embroidery spools. I will most likely purchase 2 more. The price was great and shipping quick.

> 3 dayThis thread rack is perfect! The spools are tall enough to place bobbins along with Gütermann thread in one spool which makes sewing so much easier and organized. I was using the popular wood racks but they were heavier and spools were short. Assembly was very easy. Hoping they come out with a serger thread size rack soon.

> 3 dayOnce it’s together it’s a nice product but snapping the shelf on the tread is INSANELY hard!!

> 3 dayThis was SUPER difficult to put together— you have to apply a lot of pressure with your hands at a very awkward angle. I knocked one star off for that because it was quite an issue, and although it’s straightforward in terms of assembly I very nearly broke it just trying to get the pieces to snap. Once it’s together, though, it’s a nice sturdy lightweight thread rack that mounts well and holds tons of thread. I’d order a second, as my thread collection is expanding rapidly, but I don’t care to go through the assembly process again, so I’ll probably look elsewhere.

> 3 dayThese dont look like much. But if you are like me, and buy the multi packs of colored threads, these make organizing easy. I now have two of them, and both are filled with thread. I wouldnt recommend these for those who purchase the 5500 yd. rolls as you will lose capacity. And the tabs that hold the rolls are low, so the thread rolls will not be stable.

> 3 dayIm so happy with this thread rack that I bought two. I like the bright white color and the sturdiness of the plastic. There are no rough edges like Ive experienced with some wood racks. Yes, they are a little difficult to assemble. I ended up using a kitchen towel as extra padding in my hand when snapping the pieces together. That worked well for me. Hanging them on the wall was quite simple too. I hung them top to bottom so it looks like one unit instead of two separate ones. I really like the long spindles. They are so long that I am able to put the matching bobbin under the spool so they wont get separated. The spacing between spindles is enough that I can use Peels on an almost full spool of thread and it still fits next to another. Sizing reference for my pictures: Top spools with netting - base is 1 ½ wide - spool is 2 ⅛ high - 1100 yard spool Bottom spools with Peels - spool is 1 ½ wide and 3 high - 1200 yard spool
