I feel like a real sucker, could have gotten it for 90 dollars on ebay.

I wish I would have bought this back when I got my first 20v tool. The rapid charger is a beautiful feature. The standard charger with the 20v tools works well but I love how fast this charges those batteries. I like the fact that there is a cooling fan on each docking station to help keep the batteries cool while charging. The charger that comes with the 60v tools functions the same as this docking station in terms of speed and cooling. I would not get rid of the single station charger and replace it with this charger (unless you only have the basic 20v charger). There will be times where to you do not need to tote the suitcase sized charger with you. The major advantage to this charger is being able to rapidly charge 4 batteries at the same time and only use 1 outlet. I was building a deck with friends this past weekend and had multiple 20v/60v tools running at the same time. (5 impact drivers, and 4 saws) Never once did we have someone have to wait for a battery to be charge. Nor did we have to unplug a charger when we needed the miter saw, air compressor or table saw. The charger is fast and convenient.

Im just a regular guy with a home workshop, not a professional contractor, but I still bought this. Heres why: Its a bit large, but can be wall-mounted to save space. Even though Im just use my Dewalt tools for light home projects, I still have 7 or 8 different Dewalt tools—and always having batteries charged for them is very convenient. I think the only thing that would make this better is if it had an optional slow-charge mode (which would be easier on the batteries and avoid running the cooling fan).

If you own a Dewalt Drill and or other 12 volts up to 20 volts to include the 20 /60 flex volt batteries , this charging pack is a must . It charges fast ! Works great , excellent seller . A+++× will buy from again .

It has a strong build and it’s very convenient to be able to charge that many batteries at the same time, however, it says it’ll charge four 4 ah batteries in 40 mins and it took almost an hour, that doesn’t bother me, but if you expect that, it’ll be a little longer than u expect. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Hesitated for awhile on this one but so glad I did. It was worth every penny. A while back I came across a deal I couldnt pass up with a 2 pack of the 3AH batteries. In the single charger that I have, they take foooreeeever to charge. No embellishments on that! I mean hours! So, that was this chargers 1st test. Completely dead, quit while using hammer drill….charged it fully in approximately 25 mins.!

I was unsure about buying the fast charger but have never looked back. The Dewalt products that drain batteries faster such as their large masonry saw and large Leaf blower require batteries to be changed out, every 15 to 20 minutes. Given the power of those battery operated tools, I have found the charger to be invaluable for all day work.
