Somehow over time I ended up with a daisy chained mess of cords and surge protectors. I have 3 Milwaukee, 5 Dewalt, and 4 worx batteries. And each battery had its own charger, it was a mess. The first step in cleaning out the rats nest was this 4 banger. Which I just found out can also support the 20/60 flex batteries, so getting ready to make that jump as well.

We’ve all had home projects we needed to complete only to find the drill (or other tool) doesn’t have a charged up battery. So you wait. And then push the project aside. And a week later you’re back to working on a project that should have been done seven days earlier. Or maybe that’s just my house. This has helped immensely. Very glad I made the purchase.

Be prepared, its very loud. They are really are trying to keep the heat syncs cool in this thing. But that is a good thing. Just dont keep it close to your work station. Its wall mountable and it has a handy carry handle. The only real thing i dont like about it, is the battery mounts. It take a lot of effort to snap the battery in the slot. way too much. Maybe it will get easier with age. Well see.

In the past I would buy sets of drills and other battery operated tools and they would come with their own chargers, pretty soon you have a bunch of tools and a bunch of chargers. Since Amazon wont ship lithium batteries to my location due to flight freight restrictions, my best option was to buy Tool Only purchased without battery or charger and assemble my Dewalt collection of 20v tools this way and only have one multi charger. Less clutter, Less Stuff , and then just wait for battery sales here locally to purchase my batteries, which ironically happened right after. So far so good everything works well with all the different sized 20v battery packs I have. The only downside I could imagine is that if the charger fails I dont have a backup.

Wall mounting requires very long screws but i coupled this with a tool holder and a battery holder so that I have a nice wall of battery powered tools.

    Expensive and worth every dime.

As expected this is a solid charger for either Flexvolt, 20V max and even the new Powerstack batteries. Solidly mounts to the original ToughSystem storage boxes, but does not fit on the newer ToughSystem 2 boxes. Does its charging in parallel. Does its charging fast. Can be mounted to a wall and has a unique through-hole mounting points that allows you to not use those hard to line up with key slots. There are a few videos showing how to modify the base to mount on the TS2 cases, but all are destructive modifications. Still it does what it says it will and it is a real boon to Dewalt owners with attacks of batteries.
