> 24 hourWe were under the impression this item came with a case and it did not. Under customer questions on the ordering page someone asked if it came with a case and the response was yes. Still a nice product.

> 24 hourIt works well but its a little too top heavy. Expensive but if it lasts it will have been worth the price. Makes greasing multiple fittings quick and easy.

> 24 hourI bought this because I formerly was using a mini Lucas Oil brand manual grease gun to lubricate my John Deere 3025. Then I bought another, larger, tractor and a new tandem axel trailer and realized this was insanity. So I took the plunge and bought this tool. I already own a full set of DeWalt power tools so I opted for the tool only. This grease gun is built to the same standards that all you can expect from all other DeWalt tools. Its a hefty tool but its got a nice shoulder strap to offset the weight. Also, the long hose allows you to reach tough spots and set the tool on the ground if need be. The light is very helpful and bright. This gun runs John Deere Polyurea grease flawlessly. My one major recommendation is to buy a Lock-and-Lube coupler as its a perfect compliment to this tool. I bought the XL version, and I glad I did. Battery life has thus far proven excellent. Flow is great and each fitting is greased to spec in a few effortless seconds. Loading the gun is very simple and much easier than the mini gun I had. The empty grease tubes also come out with minimal effort. I have had no problem with purging any air from the gun---which is easily accomplished with the bleed valve. In my first day of ownership I greased two tractors, a 12-foot flexwing bushhog, and two sets of trailer axels and I could have done more. Definitely worth buying if you like being productive.

> 24 hourI love this thing. I’ve had it for several months and use it on my truck, mowers and other things needing grease and wish I had bought one of these a long time ago. I don’t have the new fancy batteries that dewalt came out with over the last few years but I do have the smaller 20v lithium batteries that I use on my drill and impact drivers and it works just fine. After speaking with dewalt customer service they said there is no problems running the smaller/older batteries, you just don’t keep a charge as long but I haven’t had any problems with battery life for my applications; I suppose if you were a mechanic that worked on heavy equipment in the field or something similar that didn’t have the ability to recharge batteries in the field it would be worth buying the new batteries but I do fine with the old ones. If you’re thinking of buying a battery grease gun then go for it and get this one, you won’t regret it at all.
