Overall a decent tape… except after every 12” the inch measurement resets to one. Instead of 14” this would read 2” and you would then have to look back to see the foot marker. Infuriating product. Not for professionals.

Had this for a year and it has been great. I finally needed it for measuring over 100 and when it got to 93 the tape came out of the case. It had been broken there since day 1. I love Dewalt but I will be replacing this with another brand.

Purchased it for a project, arrived on a Friday, used it on Saturday. 20 minutes of use and it broke in a freak accident. I was measuring a deck, and the tape fell between two deck boards (approx. 1/8 gap). It became stuck between the boards, and after ten minutes of trying to gently free it, the tape broke. I tried numerous methods to free it, even used two credit cards to act as guides to try and straighten it and wiggle if from the obstruction. But I applied just a bit too much pressure and it snapped. Finished up the project with a couple of 25 tape measures. I was definitely disappointed in the situation, but I cant blame it on the tape measure. Just one of those freak experiences. Hoping I can buy a replacement tape, but I havent researched it. Or I guess I could subtract 7-3 1/4 from every measurement (just kidding).

DeWalt tape measure worked perfectly.

Im a RE appraiser. Fits in my pocket just in case I need it as backup for the laser measure. I recommend.
