> 3 dayTried it one time even after letting the tape out all the way it still would not roll up smoothly. The dirt window had to be forced to open. I have used used Dewalt tools for years but this one failed! I switched over to Milwaukee.

> 3 dayThe one I got has no one inch mark, it starts at the two inch mark. There’s also no running tally of inches, it starts over at each foot. So to measure long inches something I have to look for the nearest foot, convert that to inches, then add the extra inches, then subtract an inch. It’s too much math on the fly.

> 3 dayThe tool was dropped once and broke. Unacceptable for such an expensive product.

> 3 dayIts a great tool. Just make sure you fine tune the head clamp of the tape to a ruler, because mine was default at 1/4 or so off point.

> 3 dayPurchased it for a project, arrived on a Friday, used it on Saturday. 20 minutes of use and it broke in a freak accident. I was measuring a deck, and the tape fell between two deck boards (approx. 1/8 gap). It became stuck between the boards, and after ten minutes of trying to gently free it, the tape broke. I tried numerous methods to free it, even used two credit cards to act as guides to try and straighten it and wiggle if from the obstruction. But I applied just a bit too much pressure and it snapped. Finished up the project with a couple of 25 tape measures. I was definitely disappointed in the situation, but I cant blame it on the tape measure. Just one of those freak experiences. Hoping I can buy a replacement tape, but I havent researched it. Or I guess I could subtract 7-3 1/4 from every measurement (just kidding).
