These punches have much thicker cutters than the ones I bought years ago from Tandy. This means they can be resharpened and should last me about 100 years.

I bought this to add an oval hole to a belt, but have found that the variety of punches has come in useful for many projects. I would definitely consider this a good value for the price!!

Its meant for leather but its great for making custom gaskets...

Almost too dull to use out of the box

I have expensive belts. I lost a few lbs and had to add one hole in each belt. These tools are awesome. Each belt had a slightly different size hole and these tools matched the holes perfectly. Carefully place the tool were needed and a medium hit with a hammer. I did it on a block of wood.

I bought these hoping one would be the right size to add a hole to my belt. There was one that was the perfect size. They are good quality and very simple to use. Glad I tried them out.

Works very well for punching adjustment holes in plastic.

The amount of time it takes to sharpen these properly is not worth the money you save. The finish of the slope from exit hole to primary bevel is so rough that you ruin your piece from the wiggling necessary to remove it after striking. I sanded the slope incrementally down to 2000 grit wet/dry and it improved greatly. But the primary bevel was just sad... full of striations from whatever they ground it down with. Would not recommend to anyone but a beginner leather craftsman.

I bought these punches for a single use, to add a hole in my Hanks belt. Worked great

I bought these to cut holes in leather. A simple tap and you get a perfect elongated hole. I like to back up the leather with a UHMW pad.
