> 24 hourI bought one, and my son bought one too. I use Yaesus ATAS-120A with the Diamond Antenna K400S mount. Solid, durable.

> 24 hourI have an aging, yet classic Dodge Ram 1500 Larime that will be going to our son later this year. As such, I did not want to mark, ding or drill the truck in any way to keep it in great shape. So no drilling, no heavy mag mounts, etc. Nothing permanent or destructive. This mount was the perfect solution and is mounted drivers side to the lip of the hood. Very similar to the Hood Mounts you have seen for trucks, but in my mind much safer that having a piece of metal protruding from the vehicle. This mount is very flexible to help get you as square and as vertical as one can. My only complaint is that the hex screw holding the antenna mount to the main housing does not tighten enough. I have a wobble in the antenna. To date, it does not hinder RX/TX performance, but seems like it should be a lot more sturdy when taking turns, etc. Left hand turns can make the antenna come about 30 degrees off vertical, but always seems to right itself. The same Comet mount seems like it would be much more snug of a fit. But since the Diamond was NMO and simply works...it stays! The thin feed line disappears into the hood gap and through into the cab by hugging and snuggling against driver side door insulation, etc. Not only does it hide itself away, but it has great performance as well. I am used to spending extra money for LMR, but this little cable is awesome! Using Comet 2X4SRNMO VHF/UHF and FTM-300DR to complete the rig.

> 24 hourThis is one of few mounts that works with my Nissan Juke. Looks great, easy to install, flexible mounting options. Wish the SMA connect had a rotatable barrel sleeve, I have to turn my handset to screw it in.

> 24 hourI’m not a professional, but I have owned a few grease guns in my life. This is by far the best grease gun I have ever used. Great pressure and the fitting seem to work for every thing I need. I use it on my jeep and my boat. No issues

> 24 hourThis mount works great on the hatch of our Town & Country. It’s easy to access vs a roof / roof rack mount!

> 24 hourLooks like a good option to avoid drilling. The cable isnt terribly short, but any shorter would certainly be unreasonable. It lacked about 2-3 feet to reach from my rear hatch to underneath my drivers seat in my Subaru Outback. Kind of annoying.

> 24 hourI mounted this on the hood of my Escape. The best part about this is that I can leave the antenna on my Escape whenever I pull into the garage. Before, I was using a mag mount.

> 24 hourI was hesitant on drilling a hole in the roof of my Ford Explorer. After much research, I decided that this lip mount, in addition to a Comet antenna would fit the bill. I’m very happy with the build of this mount. It’s very sturdy and the 2 axis adjustments makes fine tuning the angle a breeze to adjust. My only gripe with this mount however is that the 13 foot cable is just about 3 ft short if you need to mount your base station on the opposite side of the vehicle. Other than that, buy this over the cheaper Chinese brand mounts that you find on the big auction sites.
