> 3 dayI have used Dr. Bronners for 50+ years. So refreshing when used as a shower gel. But it can be used for anything.

> 3 dayThis has to be the best soap Ive ever used! Multi-purpose uses, cleaning fruits & veggies, shaving, wiping windows, cleaning multi surface uses. It is large, needs to be dilouted and goes a long. The labeling on the bottle has a lot written about faith and morals which is very interesting for a soap manufacturer to do that. Would be over and over again!

Greater than one weekOkay, I try and review the majority of the items I purchase on Amazon. I think its a very clean way to help the marketplace decide the pros and cons of any particular item. If more people did it we would all benefit. Reviewing soap… Seems ridiculous, ordinarily I would say that it is, however if you dont have the attention span to read along review just know that you will never purchase another soap that leaves you with a cleaner feeling and a more robust peppermint smell both in and out of the shower. The long version is a bit more involved, this stuff is sold like snake oil… Basically a cure for any mass any time. I practically expect Billy Mays to pop up and give me a long-winded pitch about the miracles of this soap. Theres a very interesting back story to the company, this is in a bunch of millennial hippies that think organic peppermint soap and all things vegan will save the world. This companys been around since the 1800s and they sell exactly the same product that they sold that… Likely with some improvements. If youve ever picked up a bottle and tried to read the nonsense ramblings on the bottle they actually have a purpose. You have to go to their website or Google it to find out, suffice to say its really not worth your time because it has nothing to do with the soap. Heres what you need to know, this is about the only commercially available consumer soap which is sold in a concentrated form. Any negative review that you see complaining about how oily it is or that its too strong is because the person didnt bother to take two seconds and read the instruction about how to use it. The company suggests half a tablespoon of soap heavily diluted in the shower. By that equation your grandkids will inherit the bottle. When I was kid my parents sent me to an outdoors camp where we would backpack and canoe etc., this soap in a smaller container is what we used on the trail. Its completely organic so there was no risk of harm to the local wildlife or plants/ecology and it works better than any bar soap Ive ever seen. As an adult I actually still had my bottle from 30 years ago and it was exactly the same potency today as it was then. When I finished off the bottle I purchased 1 gallon and theres a reason, that I want to spend 50+ dollars on soap? Absolutely not… But the 32 ounce containers are far more expensive when you add them up and buying in bulk. I purchased a four dollar pump for a 1 gallon jug right here on Amazon and I created the perfect system for dispensing this soap. Using a loofah or washcloth about an ounce and 1/2 of this stuff will lather up in a way that you would not believe, there is such a thing as too many suds. The smell can be overwhelming when you first start using this… Youll get used to it and grow very fond of the smell. So above when I said that this is sold like snake oil, I wasnt kidding… If you read the jug/bottle youll see that basically they claim this thing can wash or clean anything. Maybe it can, but Im good with tied in the washing machine and cascade in my dishwasher. Im sure there are some Birkenstock wearing hemp wrapped hippies that actually use this stuff for the 2000 different ways it can be used, I use it the shower and wash my hands. The only thing that I can say isnt 100% about the product… If youre prone to dry skin, youll want to use this every other time you shower. This stuff is like the first time you ever took a shower in soft water and felt like there was still soap on you but in reality you are just clean. We get so used to hard water deposits that when you use soft water you get the feeling like theres still slick soap on you. This is exactly the same, youll have to play around with the amount until you reach a dilution ratio that works for you. I unconditionally guarantee (no guarantee being offered :-)), if you try this stuff you will love it. Congratulations… You just made it through the worlds longest soap review

> 3 dayI have been using this soap for 10 years and unless someone make a superior product I have no reason to change to another product. Here is an honest review: The problems I have with this soap are 1. It contains palm oil which, if not grown correctly is bad for the ecosystem. As I understand the manufacturer uses sustainable techniques but I cannot say one way or another. 2. The sodium hydroxide will make your stainless steel sink slightly dull. However, I found that adding a drop of dishwashing soap fixes the problem. Those are my two problems, otherwise, for cleaning and bathing this soap is invaluable. The reviews claiming that the soap is watered down are incorrect and probably posted by competitors. The gallon size jug generally lasts a year or so in our house. I distribute the soap in small pump containers at a 1 to 4 ratio (1 part soap, 4 parts water) for bathing and light cleaning. For the bathrooms I leave it at full strength. The peppermint aroma will irritate your eyes if you use too much but at least you are confident that it is strong enough for bathrooms. Given that I promised an honest review, I should mention, for those with sensitive skin the peppermint is too strong for bathing unless it is greatly watered down, probably a two table spoons in 12 oz of water or use a very small amount. Instead, my wife and I exclusively use the unscented or lavender for bathing. At any rate, this soap is not watered down and by the way, it does not contain pesticides-laden ingredients. It is effective and less harsh on the environment than similar products. For those with kids and/or pets, you can mix this soap with 100% peppermint or eucalyptus extract to make a safe but effective insecticide (1 tsp of oil extract, 1 tsp of soap and 8 oz of water). Sure, it is not as effective as raid but it does kill on contact within a minute or two and, unlike raid, it is not a neurotoxin. If you have never used this soap before, start with a small bottle and if your experience is not the same as my experience you have not lost too much money.

Greater than one weekThis soap is pure. I have been known to have allergic reactions to some soaps and I wont use any soap but this. I have often used the peppermint soap as a stocking stuffer with a loofah to get my friends and family to use it! The Mint one is refreshing. You will feel it! You breathe better in the shower and when you get out and dry yourself off - you will feel a cooling sensation. I love to take a shower with the soap after I workout! Its heaven! If you are not a fan of the mint - try the other soaps. Equally pure but no cooling sensation. I also use this for face wash. It says about a million uses for the product on the label. This is a must try product! I LOVE IT!
