Dr. Ph. Martins Bleedproof White Fine Art Paint, 1 Ounce (Pack of 1)

It arrived with a leak, therefore the whole ink was dry and a big lump. Very disappointing. Impossible to use on a calligraphy pen, the ink does not run down the pen nib.

A must-have. This product is super opaque. Dilute it with water and it becomes less and less opaque, but I was pretty surprised at how much it actually extended. When I had it thinned with water (maybe too much so?) over top of dark dark watercolor areas, it did tint a bit. But I went over it again and it was solid. Ive also used it successfully over ink. Its definitely a useful tool.

Do NOT use this white! Its very thick, but when you water it down it doesnt cover. If you use it the way it comes, IT FLAKES OFF after its dry, RUINING your scroll with paint thats missing.

Im a calligrapher, and we (calligraphers) love to use this for writing on dark papers. Its a staple in any seasoned calligraphers tool kit. You must water it down because its concentrated, but it makes an amazing white ink that is richer and more opaque than white ink from Higgins, etc. It looks divine on black cardstock.

New dip pen user so trying this ink to mix & letter.

Unfortunately the bottle arrived with many cracks. Totally useless.

Wonderful when writing in black or very dark background

You have to dilute for the ink to flow through a dip pen but its perfect one of my favorite inks!

very good to achieve redesigned restore or white areas at the end of a watercolor. I was looking for something like this for a long, long time! muy buena para lograr restituir o rediseñado las áreas blancas al terminar una acuarela. Estaba buscando algo como esto por mucho,mucho tiempo!

I purchased BPW as it was recommended by EVERYone. I agree its a great ink for pointed pen calligraphy, once it has been watered down. I recant a small amount of BPW into a smaller container, so that its easier to get the right formulation.
