Bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law who took up drawing and painting. She is a natural artist and was using basic pencils to do some nice work. She loved this set and used it to sketch some awesome portraits of my kids and some scenery. Based on her feedback, this kit has everything a beginner needs.

It was a gift for my granddaughter. She says that she likes it and has used it quite often.

My son (13) was excited to get such a nice sketch kit for Christmas, he said its got more tools than he wished for.

This is a great set for beginners, the variety included helps practice techniques. Good to see pastels and sketch books also in the set, though I would recommend buying additional sketch books to go with this. I bought it for myself as Im getting back to sketching after a few years and it works well so far. Looks like it is giftable too as the set comes in a sturdy case.

I got this as a little present for my husband for Christmas. He has a natural talent for drawing but not much experience. This is the perfect beginner set great for teens and older people. Its very rare that adults get presents that they can actually play with.
