I love the added inch on this gauge and the point turner feature.

Did not like this seam gauge. Is to big for my taste. Is just a cheap piece of ruler. I threw it away and got me a clover one is just better quality and better constructed than this one. Cheap is not better.

This is a pretty standard measuring tool that every serious seamstress should have in their kit. I used one just like it for 15+ years, and am just now replacing it after the measurement lines have been worn off from constant use. Checked against other rulers and the measurements are accurate. Slide works smoothly and stays in place well. These little Dritz rulers are a great quality tool!

My cats stole my original so I ordered a second one. I like to think the cats are using my original to precisely measure the rents they plan on making in the curtains

Useful tool that I use in poking out corners of shirt labels and other places as expected. Also good for gauging my seams. Pleased.

My preference for steam gauge is either an Omnigrid ruler, a piece of cardboard cut to the actual shape of the hem that I want to make (that I then roll the hem over and then press over), or for actual measurement the Nancy Zieman gauge that adjusts. But considering this item is only two dollars its a really good compromise. It also can be used as a point Turner- although my fist preference is a dedicated point Turner made out of hard plastic, or a Bodkin, or a chopstick, or varous seaming techniques. But for a combo item for beginners, it cant be beat.

Not much to say, it does what its supposed to, not as flimsy as most are.

Only worth -- at best -- the buck and a half I paid for it. The plastic slide is flimsy, and bound to break. The point turner is handy -- but again not likely to stand up to repeated use. A shame when a companys reputation for quality deteriorates.

The one I got has several scratches in the back, looks just like second hand stuff.
