better to spend $5 extra dollars on name brand like 3M. The surface of the pad is loosing about 50% of grit/effectiveness after 6-8 laps on the regular aluminum flat part. It looks like only both sides of the pad to about 10% of its thickness have some working skin, once that 10% layer is gone after a few light uses, rest is just almost useless and garbage.

I quit using steel wool and now no longer have to worry about rust using these in my finishing.

I nornally use a disc whic is hard to get to the edge of the car, these did the trick.

I would say they arent as durable, long lasting as the Scotch Brite / 3M pads. But they do the same job. So for the price, good deal.
