Greater than one weekI used these to scuff up a bunch of tool cabinets for repaint. I prefer the scuff pads over using sandpaper because the scuff pads are easier for me to hold on to.

> 3 day4 1/2 × 9, not 6x9. Ive ordered this brand before and received true to size thick pads, just got these today the there way to small and the thinnest material Ive ever seen in a scotch brite pad. Worthless.

> 3 dayI have used another brand of product with great results and dont believe what I received would even be able to come close to the same results, if even able perform the task. I had intended to remove rust and refinish a metal surface, but I didnt even try with this very thin product. I dont believe it was what normally ships as it was too small and would not have gotten the same reviews.

15-04-2025Like one other reviewer said, they are way to thin! The pads are about 3/16 thick and extremely flimsy. I have to stack two of them together to even get a grip on them. Half the thickness of the 3M pads I am use to using. Cant understand how this product is getting such good reviews. Maybe OK for body work getting into tight places since they are so flimsy, but pass on them if you do wood work. The more ridged flat 3M pads work MUCH BETTER for wood!
