Hard to four pack of Duracell batteries. Most local outlets only offer a single or two battery package. These batteries are now popular in many remote controls especially those used for ceiling fans.

This has happened with each battery Ive tried. They still working and no longer for the device after a few days. You have to pry them out. Trash.

First battery from the package was dead as a doornail. Other three were fine. Date code was 2023. Ive come to the conclusion that its not worth buying the brand names in bulk. Buy three times as many no name equivalents and assume a few will be dead, lifespan will be a little shorter, but the deal will be better overall. I am not sure how the major brand names can have such a high failure rate.
