Got these to replace 23a batter and these are too small to fit clock

The new battery was able to make the remote control work for our ceiling fan.

I use these 12 volt batteries for the car remote Key Fobs in one of our older Hondas. Since most cars come with two remotes invariably one driver uses the car more than the other driver. So when you change one battery in one remote (the one needing a new battery) the other battery in the other remote might not need changing yet.

I had bought this battery as standby cell for my car remote. I love the long expiry dates on these Alkaline batteries and had kept it in the glove compartment for several months - till the fateful day when the remotes original battery died on me - it was a good thing that I had the spare as I was able to open the car with the key (of course the alarm went off) and then quickly opened the remote with a coin, replaced the battery and reset the alarm. Its always a good idea to keep a spare battery for the car remote!

Great price for these batteries that fit into my garage door opener and a couple of other remotes.
