Dyson Vacuum Motorhead (For V11)

I was expecting to receive an original item in the original package, with the original logo High Torque on the front, like in the pictures. I am disapointed. It was packed in a regular box, with no original seal on it.

Fake fake fake!

The motorhead was missing a red lock tab. Hoping to get it replaced.

This thing works better than the OEM one, but looks almost exactly like it. Original broke due to excessive use by the wife who has OCD LOL. She bumped it into way too many walls.

I shouldn’t have to be replacing the Dyson motorhead after only 2 years, but this Amazon purchase was the best. Brought my Dyson V11 torque drive back to new again. Originally, I ordered a knockoff because I thought I was saving money. In the end, purchasing the OEM from Amazon was by far, the best decision and wish I had done that from square one.

I love my Dyson but I have cement floors so it is rough to vacuum. I am glad that I can get on here and order new heads as needed.

Replaced the original power head

The motorhead on the original stick vacuum burnt out when I tried to vacuum a rug that had a fair amount of hair and dirt. The problem was that I did not realize that the brush end most distant from the part that you can unscrew with a coin had a build up of fibers, lint and dirt in the space beyond the bristles and so the brush could not move anymore.

Im still uncertain as to why the original one broke given the price of this vacuum but I needed a new motorhead. This one fits perfectly and works great. I just hope that it has a longer life than the original.

Im very disappointed that I could not replace my XL high torque motor head. I paid for XL high torque per picture shown, however received much smaller motor head. Ive only had vacuum almost a year. Pictures to come. False advertising
