Trades people and those who work outside in the cold and dry of Winter: This is the best cream (it goes on like a cream and dries soft and wax-like) that will prevent or help cure skin cracks. Put on your thumb and finger ends at bedtime. It remains on your hands all night. Will not rub off on your bed clothes when dry. Washing in the morning with soap can take it off . If your skin cracks are serious - open to red tissue - use Superglue to seal the cuts during the day for a few days will speed the healing.

This hand cream is one of my favorites. Now if only I would remember to put it on. It absorbs well and you can actually use your hands even after you have put on this cream without losing grip on the object.

There must be 15,000 hand creams on sale at most stores. I havent tried all of them, but I have used many. Short of straight shea butter, this is the best cream available for chapped, dry or cracked hands. Gardeners Friend has plenty of shea butter, but also has many other nifty looking ingredients. It also smells pretty good. Not overpowering at all, but subtle and ok. And it really, really works.

This is good for knees, elbows, and almost over all the body; however, I got it for my hands as they stay cracked and bleeding year round. Now, wish I had gotten the stuff advertised on TV. It smells pleasant, good on the whole body, but not the HANDS! I use it on my hands too, but really was hoping it would be good for my hands. I would recommend this product to anyone.

My favorite hand cream! It has a very nice, light smell and keeps my dry hands well hydrated.

I swear by this lotion all year round. Very moisturizing without bring greasy and it absorbs into the skin quickly which is a nice bonus.

This is the best hand conditioner you can get-no greasy feel, but very softening! Its wonderful. There is not a better hand product out there. Thrilled to find it again. Hard to find in stores now.

All the experts say if we drank enough water we wouldnt need creams and lotions at all. But sometimes in the winter you need something to make your skin feel and look better, and this does the trick without an obnoxious fragrance or any residual stickiness. Its being moderately priced, cruelty-free, and vegetarian-standard (even though I dont plan to eat it) is a further selling point.
