> 3 dayThese 8GB 2.0 Flash Drives were exactly what I needed in quantity -- and they came at an extremely exceptional price! In certain instances, I retain only specific files on a single drive and would end up wasting a lot of unused space using larger capacity flash drives. Also, the 2.0 standard makes these much more versatile than a 3.0 version -- you never know what kind of system youll need to handshake them to, and some may or may not support 3.0 -- most, however, are still backwards compatible. The smooth, simple, attractive encasement on these also makes labeling a snap using Brother Labeling tape. Getting down to other basics, I also prefer this configuration (with an actual cap that snaps on to protect the connector) rather than the rotating variety as its less likely to shift in a purse or wallet and expose the connector itself to potential damage and dirt. Thats simply a matter of personal choice, but Ive discovered that one looks nifty, while the other one STAYS nifty -- so that would pretty much be my biggest concern as far as durability. Other than that, theres not much about flash drives that makes one stand out more than another as far as longevity. Ive used various brands and havent experienced corruption or loss of data over time on any of them, and I expect the same will be the case with these as well barring some weird fluke. Would I recommend these? Of course. Will I be buying them again in the future? Of course. Might you feel confident in buying them as well? Of course...if youre looking for multiple 8GB, 2.0 flash drives at a reasonable price that do what you need them to do.

> 3 day8 gigs is not a lot by todays standards. Normally wouldnt even think about buying an 8. However I keep losing my thumb drives. Every time I need one I can never find one. So I decided to buy a bunch for emergency purposes. Its been great. I keep one in my pocket at all times. I loaded one up with MP3s for my car. The difference colors are cool, because I match the interior trim with the one I used in my car. Lol. I keep one at my computer desk so I can transfer files if need be. I have multiple computers. And of course I keep the original packaging with whats left over in a safe place. This has worked out well for me. Now I always have a thumb drive when I need one.

> 3 dayI bought these to use in automatic photo frames we have in our home. They work perfectly for that. Lots of memory and they are sturdy. Cant say much else about a jump drive, but they are absolutely fine for the money.

> 3 dayAfter getting to checking these, formatting them and running a read/write test. 1 of the 5 completely broke or malfunctioned (computer does not see a volume to even format). the others i could write and read from, though would sometimes hiccup when writing files to them If you need some cheap quick storage devices for moving things, these might work. if youre looking for something long term storage or reliable usage, might want to get something else.

Greater than one weekPurchased these to download windows… could not complete because these are 7.48 GB, and not 8GB In addition, when taking off the cover, it’s ripping apart.

> 3 dayI bought these to use for sending tax files to preparer (who can then keep them), for bringing my teaching files back and forth from university, and for transfer of files from an old and new computer. All 5 of the ones I received worked fine. I dont know if I would use them for important longer term backup duty - but for this price and the way they have worked so far - if you want a way to give files to someone and not have to remind them to give it back, or want temporary portable storage where you wont feel that bad if you lose them or they break, then I think these are great.

> 3 dayI finally decided to switch to Linux. I bought a four pack of these USB sticks to install various Linux distributions on to test them out and see which one I liked the best. Little did I know that I could install multiple live versions of Linux on one USB stick. Now I dont need all for of them, but Im glad I bought them anyway. They provide a lot of storage and are great to have around. I dont know how long theyll last, but Im happy with the purchase. Now I need to get a couple of USB 3.0 sticks.
