> 3 dayThe product was received as predicted. After receipt, I tried all 10 (I purchased 2 sets of 5). 9 of 10 functioned satisfactorily. One was recognized initially by my computer, but then failed to function. At one point, the Microsoft repair function appeared, and I directed a repair. The results told me that the device was repaired. Wrong! It still did not function. I dried again to open the file, and files with Chinese figures appeared. They could not be deleted. I then tried to format the drive, but received a message that I did not have the rights to perform that function. As an Engineer, I am not satisfied with a 90% success rate. I will continue to use the 9 good drives, with the hope that they will continue to function.

Greater than one weekAfter getting to checking these, formatting them and running a read/write test. 1 of the 5 completely broke or malfunctioned (computer does not see a volume to even format). the others i could write and read from, though would sometimes hiccup when writing files to them If you need some cheap quick storage devices for moving things, these might work. if youre looking for something long term storage or reliable usage, might want to get something else.

> 3 dayI bought these to use for sending tax files to preparer (who can then keep them), for bringing my teaching files back and forth from university, and for transfer of files from an old and new computer. All 5 of the ones I received worked fine. I dont know if I would use them for important longer term backup duty - but for this price and the way they have worked so far - if you want a way to give files to someone and not have to remind them to give it back, or want temporary portable storage where you wont feel that bad if you lose them or they break, then I think these are great.

> 3 dayI read all the reviews but was hesitant as a photographer so I may update later if something goes wrong but so far they worked great. They have a fun color and sleek look. I believe metal casing. The cap stays on snug. I have fairly slow WiFi internet but they loaded 800 digitally retouched images in about 2 minutes.

> 3 dayI needed flash drives for large-file photos and these are perfect. I also ordered the short wrist cords to attach to them and they are great!

> 3 dayI was looking for cheap usb drives that I wouldnt use more than 4GB each on for various boot utilities, installations, and flashing of firmware. Of course theres always the problem of fake usb drives where the actual space is smaller than indicated and you simply start overwriting data if you exceed the real space. These use Chipsbanks CBM2199a which is a pretty new flash controller and the memory reported as ECD7947E64C4 - Samsung K9HDGY8U5B - 4CE/Single Channel [MLC-8K] I ran them through a 3 pass low level factory format using UMPtool and they are all really 16GB (ish). Benchmark show they are below but close enough to the performance of a Sandisk Cruzer Glide (16GB usb 2.0). However the random write performance is pretty bad. You can compensate for this with disk caching in Windows. Below are the benchmark results. Overall they are 5 stars because the price is great , they arent fake, and the performance is mostly ok.
