it was the exact same color as the original one ,easy installation. I watched a couple of you tube video on removing the old one ,and installing the new.

This item fit my 2004 Silverado and in my opinion looks great. The rod for the install fit a little too snug so I used needle nosed vise grips on the knurled end to turn it back and forth it went in easily with this method instead of tapping on it with mallet with a plastic body I didnt want to break it. I am very happy with the purchase. Install took 15 minutes I did not remove the entire console, only the lid.
