I installed this on my 2006 Chevy Silverado. It was easy to install, it took less than 10 minutes.

This item fit my 2004 Silverado and in my opinion looks great. The rod for the install fit a little too snug so I used needle nosed vise grips on the knurled end to turn it back and forth it went in easily with this method instead of tapping on it with mallet with a plastic body I didnt want to break it. I am very happy with the purchase. Install took 15 minutes I did not remove the entire console, only the lid.

Its good just feels a little cheap but it works great.
