Efferdent Retainer Cleaning Tablets, Denture Cleaning Tablets for Dental Appliances, Minty Fresh & Clean, 126 Count

These aren’t as great as other brands that I have used in the past. I haven’t noticed a difference in my retainers

I order these to clean my retainers and they do the trick. No scrubbing needed. Ive been using denture cleaner for my retainers for 10 years and its worked great without affecting the structure of my retainers.

I am rinsing the appliance thoroughly after soaking for a short time in the Efferdent. The taste is not great, but its better than baking soda or some other cleaners.. The price here on Amazon is definitely better than the store in town.

I recently started wearing a night guard and needed to find a way to clean it. These tablets make it painless to do. I highly recommend this product.

As recommend by my orthodontist, Ive been cleaning my retainers with dish soap daily. Not only did it taste bad, but it hasnt worked. Even though I scrub it daily, Ive ended up with an off-white buildup on my retainer. So I decided to change it up and order these! As you can see, just after 1 five minute session (as recommend on box), the build-up is already being broken down and the retainer is getting its glow again! Definitely recommend this if you have trouble with retainer hygiene.

I purchase Efferdent to clean my bite splint (darn you TMJ). I use it every morning after I wear my splint overnight and it works perfectly for this. I have been using for over ten years like this and my dentists and TMJ doctors are always pleasantly surprised by how clean my bite splint is so Efferdent is definitely doing its job. Very easy to use, I just drop a cleaning tablet into warm water, add my bite split, let it sit for maybe an hour, and thats it. I highly recommend for cleaning a bite splint or retainer; works great. I will definitely be purchasing again.

Not a fan of the industrial strength cleanser essence that persists despite rinsing. On the other hand, it really does a great job of cleaning.

I ended up with partial dentures and I use this every morning. It is so easy to use. Drop tab into cup and I add just enough very warm water to cover. It works really well and then rinse and go!

I like the Efferdent denture cleaner but they need to work on the so-called mint flavor because it does not exist. Now that Ive got that out, Ill move on. The cleaner works very well cleaning dentures and I like that you can soak over night if you want or get a quick clean if needed. If I decide to chew a piece of Freedent gum (which Im not a big fan of, but I am a gum chewer and havent found anything better), I brush the teeth using a denture toothbrush and some Stim-U-Dent Fresh n Brite Denture Cleaning Paste first to make sure all of the gum residue is removed. I dont do this because I think the Efferdent cleaner wont work, it is just something I do on my own to make sure all of the gum (sometimes it sticks to the denture) is removed from the teeth. One big plus is the Efferdent tablet dissolves completely, unlike the Polident tablets that I tried. 4 stars because of the lack of minty taste.
