I like to watch YouTube videos of people building computers and came across this guy who put a mini lcd panel inside his computer to monitor temps and speeds. He recommended this panel (5 inch blue). So picked one up. The cables that came with it are short so I recommend that you grab a 3ft USB to micro usb cable a and a slim monoprice hdmi cable. I routed both to the back of the pc. Once the lcd came on, I configured the panel as a 2nd monitor. Now, the resolution is 800x600 but I was having a hard time getting templates to add to it, so I changed it to 800x480 on windows and downloaded a bunch of aida64 templates in that resolution. Although the resolution is lower, it actually looks better to me. See the picture. Took me about 30 mins to set everything up. Also, you will need the retail version of aida64 extreme, so I recommend you do a Google search for websites that sell the license alot cheaper that the actual aida64 site. As a bonus, people online dont like that because these panels are powered by USB, once the computer is off, some panels remain on with the message no signal detected but this one fixes that because it shuts off automatically once it does not detect a video signal. I am extremely pleased on how this came out. I would give it 10 stars if I could

Works great, great detail. Touchscreen works natively with HiveOS on an MSI MPG-Z390-GAMER-PLUS motherboard, no additional drivers needed, driver disk supplied was not necessary but good just in case. You might have to cycle power on it depending on your rig, but its a great low power solution. Im very pleased with it. They even double up on the screen protectors during shipping and it is cradled well in cut styrofoam and a rigid box.

Used this as part of a PC build for a custom temp monitoring display mounted inside the case. Definitely worth the buy - have even watched live TV bball games on this just to test during March Madness and display quality is excellent. Mounting screw slots are well positioned and with the right sized thumbscrew, the blue backing board is invisible - this was the main beef I had with other mini displays. A++ would highly recommend and purchase again.

I purchased this and installed it in my Lian-Li Lancool 2 Mesh case and I think it turned out great. The 3D printed border can be downloaded from Thingiverse if you search for item 4826355. I also used this cable to power the screen directly from the motherboard: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072Q1MBSG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The product is very good, well packaged, and works well, the only problem is that the viewing angles are not that good. Is not that bad if you plan to use it for monitoring temps, but there is a noticeable color shifting that may bother you while looking at the screen from the sides.

Terrible product- connection ports are cheap and the device is out together haphazardly. Spend $20 more and get something that isn’t a piece of junk... be smarter than I was cheap.
