ELEGOO ABS-Like 2.0 3D Printer Resin 1kg Grey, Rapid Precise Printing Resin 405nm LCD UV-Curing for LCD 3D Printer

This is great. My husband and I have ordered this particular resin several times. It works well and has good results from the printer. The only down side is there is a odor with using this resin. It is not overwhelming, but good to be aware if using around a person sensitive to odors. Odor is not present once printing is done.

Product produces an excellent print once your settings are sorted. Can recommend this enough for jewelry prints.

I bought this since it was marketed as being more durable than normal resin. I would highly recommend avoiding this. Ive never managed to have a successful print with this and it is also extremely fragrant. Even with a space with ventilation, it smelled up my entire house. I will likely be discarding the rest of the bottle.

I use this and mix it with regular resin to strengthen up my prints. The stuff is strong yet not brittle like normal resin.

Seems like a good product but this is my first time using resin to 3D print. I wouldn’t recommend doing it in the house unless you have the windows open. But it’s not that bad and you really only smell anything when the curing is happening. Be aware that this resin is highly reactive in direct sunlight. I was making parts at work and had running in a shipping container. I removed the resin reservoir and accidentally moved it into the sunlight and the entire thing started getting extremely hot, off gassing, and all the liquid resin cured hard in under 5 seconds. But I’ve also left unused resin in the reservoir for up to a week in the covered printer without issues. Be sure to buy extra replacement films for the mishaps.

Prints like a dream. and less breakage from the smaller parts.

ABS-like gray is my go-to for anything that needs to be painted. Red makes amazing prints and behaves with settings the same as gray. BLUE however is very viscous compared to red and I had to double my suppport height to get it to drain and not fuse all of the supports together and ruin the underside of the print. It may have been a bad batch situation, but I went through almost an entire kg bottle of blue before I got it to perform like red. I suspect this is due to blue being more translucent than red and how the color reacts to the UV curing process. I had to shorten my layer time to 2s from 2.5 on the Mars 2 Pro. Support height went from 5mm to 10.

As always this product performs at the highest standards. I cant complain in the slightest about this product.

I ordered Elegoo ABS-like resin from Elegoo and this sell at the same time. The one from Elegoo was sealed and had very little smell. The one from this seller was not sealed and had a strong odor. Same package but not the same resin. That or they are selling an old formula or something. Not happy.

Maybe I have a bad bottle, but it always prints with some kind of goo like web, (the resin)
