Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 – Studio Controller, 15 macro keys, trigger actions in apps and software like OBS, Twitch, ​YouTube and more, works with Mac and PC

I got the XL in order to streamline my workflow in Dorico, as Im a composer/arranger/teacher. These programs have a LOT of shortcuts (similar to Adobe products) and I have found the XL to be extremely useful in my work. (To get the full experience for Dorico, youll need to purchase Notation Express for Dorico profile which I think ran me $30. You COULD manually set it up yourself, though that would take a while...) The Elgato software is rather intuitive, straightforward and unobtrusive, though I do wish there was an option to press-and-hold as this would be a great feature for a soundboard. As it stands, pressing a button only toggles it.

Had this for 2 weeks and it worked great until it just started randomly disconnecting on its own. Now it just sits on the Elgato logo and windows doesnt recognize it. Nobody online has any answers for this problem. They all say the same thing and those that have tried it say that those dont work for fixing it. Ive tried everything and nothing.

The Elgato Stream Deck XL is brilliant. Im using it for video editing and it is quickly becoming one of my favourite devices. The quality is very high and Im happy that I spent the extra to get the large version.

I stream video games and got this to work with my Xsplit program. It is EXTREMELY useful! Swapping scenes, starting programs, and running stream functions all with the touch of a single button. It drastically cut down on how long it took to start up streams and made production much more professional. The price kind of sucks but I feel its worth the investment in the long run.

When I saw it only had 15 buttons I assumed you would only be able to assign that many different options, but you can make folders to create more pathways to other options! I have a folder for quick access to commands, one for emotes, one for scene changes in OBS, and one for random fun noises! There are so many possibilities with this, I love using it for my live streams!

Bought this for my son as one of his friends had it.. hes constantly amazed by the things it does.. its given him hours of entertainment setting up buttons to do different things .. i think he would highly recommend one of these .

I actually bought this because I have a wacom cintiq 16 and a laptop but also a small space. I needed something to have at the side of me so when Im drawing I dont need to reach over my laptop to press ctrl + Z for example. Now all my keybinds are convieniently set up nicely in a folder on my stream deck. Bonus is I can also skip and pause songs too! I was very sceptical on buying it just incase it couldnt do what I needed it to do, but it does it extremely well without paying as much for the cintiq remote. :)

Love this thing. Easy to set up and useful for more than just streaming. being able to customize the buttons is also fun if you are artistically inclined. I did have an issue where putting the unit to sleep only dimmed the screen instead of turning it off, but this was fixed with a firmware upgrade.
