Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 – Studio Controller, 15 macro keys, trigger actions in apps and software like OBS, Twitch, ​YouTube and more, works with Mac and PC

Great product. Works as specified, with lots of how-tos on YouTube to help you set up. What was not so good was that somewhere en-route someone actually tore open the package just enough to get the product box out. They then tore off the two factory seals and actually opened the product. While the product itself was not damaged, it is very disturbing that an expensive parcel like this could be opened and handled, and then delivered by the USPS with the package obviously having been opened and tampered with. The delivery envelope was so damaged the product could actually fall out if turned the wrong way. Very disturbing!

I connected the Stream Deck to my monitor. And the monitor alternates between connecting to a Windows PC and a MacBook. The Stream Deck switches effortlessly, giving me my Windows hot keys or the Mac hot keys the instant I change. This made it invaluable for both gaming and work. I read that I could buy another unit and make each key opened up a corresponding profiles for a 15 to the power of 15 keys. Oh wow! Can’t wait to try that.

This thing is just cool. I stream on Twitch and this has really streamlined the way I operate the various software involved and made it far far less frequent that I need to stop playing the game Im streaming so I can mess with stream software on the other screen. The buttons are brightly and solidly lit. The functions available make this very versatile beyond just streaming. 15 buttons with the ability to make folders meaning the ability to set up well beyond 15 keys if needed... this will do what you need. The overall construction is plastic, but seems well made. I dont suspect it would stand up to abuse, but should stand up to normal use with no problem.

You don’t need to be a millennial YouTuber to get use of this cool bit o kit… with the many free add-on’s available, it’s capabilities can be vastly expanded to do some serious macro/key/mousing on your desktop. Day traders use this bad boy to make elaborate interactions instantly. When seconds count.

This is the COOLEST device around! I am not a gamer, but I do like to make movies and do cool presentations. I use my Stream Deck to insert sounds and display media. CANNOT WAIT FOR HALLOWEEN! I can have tons of different sounds ready to scare and creep out all the trick or treaters!

Do I need 32 buttons? No. Am I happy with my purchase? Yes. Buttons as simple as opening YouTube or twitch saves so much time. And setup could not be easier with the elgato stream deck software.

Very easy to set up and use with VMix. I found so many uses I wish I had bought the larger model with more keys.

Im not a streamer so I bought this purely for fun. It doesnt do anything unique, everything youd use it for can be done with a keyboard, mouse and macros but having set it up its great to just press a button to set a string of actions in motion.
