If youre a musician live streamer who uses OBS, and you might like adding multi-media, such as photos of your song subjects, videos, GIFs, sound effects, this device is nothing short of mind blowing. You can set up multi-task buttons that will do things like cut away from your live camera to another OBS scene you might have set up, and then after a delay of whatever length you set, it will switch back to your live camera. If you stream to Twitch, you can set up one button to launch your web browser and then open up Twitch, Streamlabs, Streamersonglist, or any other bot sites you might use. Another button can be programmed to launch your stream on OBS with a countdown and stream starting soon scene, then at 0:00 it can switch over to your live camera...or even to some other scene first for however long you want before switching over to your live camera. If you can imagine it, you can do it with the StreamDeck. I used to assign computer hot keys for every scene change, then print a list of them in big bold type, but it was still really hard to keep track of them while also performing. On the StreamDeck you can load in icons, photos, or even GIFs that will appear on your buttons, so you have a visual cue. You also can simply type text to appear on the buttons. Or a combination of both. You can even assign buttons with certain Twitch commands. And it can control lighting. If you live stream using OBS, this device will make things possible for you that you cant even imagine yet. Its really intuitive to figure out, youll have it tailored to your needs in a week. Then youll tweak it here and there. As for customer service, Ive needed their help twice with a couple of things, and they spent time with me and resolved the issues I had.
