This glue has been great for first grade and kindergarten classes. We have been using this at home as well to help teachers with projects and the purple does disappear when it becomes dry. The value for the amount of glue stick we received was cheaper than the usual box stores. I checked to make sure! This was well worth the expense.

These are great because they go on purple so you can see where you put the glue but it dries clear. Perfect for kids, crafting, scrapbooking, etc. Elmers is the only brand I buy anymore because most of the others dont work as well. Great gift idea for your favorite kids, teachers, or crafters...or for yourself!
