Pros: lots of colors, low cost, can be used for a variety of projects Cons: quality is lower if using for embroidery -gets fuzzy and doesnt bloom (so your stitches are seen more distinctly and split stitches show the holes).

All the colors were all one piece until I came to this orange line. It is tied together in two places.
