worked great like the original that came with the machine. would purchase again.

They may look like the Brother 4 inch hoop but definitely not the quality. Will not keep fabric tight. It’s ok for thick fleece type fabric but not standard 100% cotton fabric.

These hoops are just what I needed to do small embroidery jobs. They work as well as the ones that came with my machine. I’d buy them again.

Just wanted to leave a quick comment saying that all three hoops are compatible with the Brother PE540D - I wasnt sure because its not listed on the product itself, but yeah, they all fit perfectly and are basically exactly the same as the ones that came packaged with the machine.

The screws used to tighten the hoops are easy to turn.
